  • I have to get my diary, but since I am sitting on the sofa not much is happening here!

I love the idea of having a plans page! It would be a great reminder throughout the year.

A nice BIG A4 diary to keep on my desk and a page a day diary for my mad ramblings!

*excited* (tragic also but hey who cares!!)
    Nevertheless she persisted.

And for my next trick ... lol

Filing for letters, bills etc. Lever Arch files are 2 for £2-50 or £1-50 each at tescos. Punch pockets are 80 for £1 at Poundland. File dividers - not checked as I've got some left over from last year.

12 dividers into 1 folder, one punch pocket for every letter or bill. Simples. Lol.

I love this idea, been reading since the start but have just finished filling in my dd's in my new 2011 page a day diary which i intend to use as a spending diary, but just for me & my account.
I'm off to poundland tomorrow when I go to close my Barclays account for an A4 diary for all our household everything :) and a calendar for the wall :)

My credit card bill is going to be beaten into submission and I will finally be debt free :)

    BRING IT ON 2011!!!!
  • I got my A4 Poundland diary :D

    I think I killed this thread :(
    Sorry Guys xxxx
  • I don't have a poundland here (nearest one is 30 miles away). After taking this into consideration I have walked to W**ko's and got one for £2.98. Am happy with the savings in petrol and enjoyed the walk. I have started the mad ramblings in mine already and barely have any space to write anything about what I've spent etc (must stop ramblings or buy another "ramblings" book!!!) What am I going to do on Saturday's and Sunday's when I've even more time to ramble but even less space in my diary in which to do it? What is a girl to do? xx
  • I don't have a poundland either but am hoping one of the cheap shops will have some kind of version. I am going to get a page a day diary for my mad ramblings, a week to view for being organised.

    xxx

I use my diary on here for the mad ramblings, have a page a day for spending diary and other notes, and my shiny red week to view in an attempt to be organised.
Only tomorrow to get through before I can start writing in it properly :)

    xxxxx

I thought I would look at this thread as it may give me some inspiration for 2011, but after looking at most of your imput, it left me feeling a bit low. I feel I am more in debt than most on this thread as I can't see when I will get out of debt even if I have a diary /spread sheet.

Hi Toobefree, have you looked at the Frugal living challenge? (sorry, I can't do the link). It's very friendly, and I've found tons of useful tips in the last 2 years - it was originally called live on 4k - lots of little things that really help and all add up.
