I think that you are right about the allocation. I have been selected as an Ambassodor and tried to book tickets within two hours of the e-mail being sent out by SeeFilmFirst, only to be told that there were no seats available. I did complain to SeeFilmFirst but have not received a reply.

I wonder if they will make the remaining seats available at another date with a different code?

As have I, and for taht I am grateful.

I had Ambassador tickets for Smokin Aces on Monday this week - it was the same cinema as those with Radio 1 tickets, so I guess they knew the cinema had 120 seats and gave out I'd guess 110? The benefit of that one and probably the reason I got tickets was that Radio 1 was not a Seefilmfirst code for them, but a go and collect!

I have been lucky and got tickets to all 4 so far but it's in danger of not working.

I think the Moviebeat scheme works better where they have a special screening just for their "Ambassadors" and you go in and complete a written survey at the end. They only have a few at a time so I guess Seefilmfirst are covering a better demographic by their scheme....

I really hated Smokin Aces but looking forward to Notes on a Scandal on Sunday!!

let me know if you get a reply re the tickets you didn't get!

  • Hi all

If anyone wants to go and see a discounted film go to Cardiff Vue. I went to see Employee of the Month last night and was charged £3.24 for 2 tickets (from using an Orange Wednesdays text code and my friend's student NUS card). We should have been charged about £4, which is the price of 1 student ticket but because the film we went to see went blurry half way through (dont know why!) for about 10 mins they said they had to discount the price of the tickets for us!! So it meant we went to see the film for £1.62 each....even cheaper than the price I paid for a small popcorn there (£3.40)!!

I didnt even notice that the film was blurry....and really enjoyed it! Go and see it!

  • I managed to get my hands on a pair of tickets to see Bobby next week at the Soho Hotel. This is the first time I've ever applied for and then managed to get preview tickets. Does anyone know what time I should get there - the film starts at 7pm so would 6.30pm be adequate because I don't wanna miss out!

I have 2 pairs of tickets to give away. I got the tickets for the 16th then found out we had already made plans for that night so I applied for the 15th tickets only to be asked at work today if I can stay behind late as we have a deadline coming up so I can't make it :(

    1)Notes On A Scandal - 15 January 2007 - ODEON Silverlink, Newcastle - Still available!
    2)Notes On A Scandal - 16 January 2007 - ODEON Gateshead, Metrocentre
    - Gone

If anyone is interested just PM me and tell me which cinema you want.

Do I just forward the email onto you? Obviously the tickets have my name so I don't know how it works!?

    thanks.
