Sounds the same as the deal they were offering a few weeks ago https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2783708

This was too good to miss so just got on Skype and ordered it from the other side of the world. Customer services very helpful and there was no pressure to buy a second sim or upselling of any kind. The deal is as published above and I went with the unlimited landlines.
For some reason my credit check required a 100 quid deposit which will be returned in 3 months, found that ironic as the whole 12 month contract period doesn't even cost that!

You overlook the fact that you can run up £100 in out of bundle calls in just a few days, if you are so inclined!

Hi, thanks for this tip, I've just ordered one for my DD.

Just had a thought though - I'm nearly out of contract with T Mobile, and am planning to go for the iPhone next... Would I be able to get one of these Sims myself and put it into an iPhone or would I need to buy that through T mobile too?

Sorry if this is an obvious answer...!

The sim will work fine in an iPhone, if you get the iPhone 4 you will need to cut the sim down (very easy to do) or get someone to do it for you (my local phone shop has a special cutter to do it, and charges £1).

I'm using my 6 year old sim (that I trimmed down myself) in my iPhone 4.

Did you get charged the £100 returned after 3 months as mentioned by "Bones02"?
    Thanks

He was probably saved from the 100 quid deposit. My home address is a military postcode which regularly causes problems with credit checks. Think they have problems understanding that 1000 people can live at the same address!
It can be very restrictive eg I cant buy anything over the internet from Tesco, the worlds 3rd largest retailer!

I was very temped by this deal last time it was highlighted here. I even had my phone in my hand and was beginning to dial the number. But I held off.

    I eventually went for this £25 a month T-Mobile deal from mobiles.co.uk:

    600 mins to any network
    500 texts
    Unlimited web browsing
New and unlocked Samsung Tocco Lite

Works out at about £1 a month after cashback. I know, I know. Some people have had problems with cashback deals, but they've always worked out okay for me.

Perhaps the only downside is that the data allowance can, or at least should, only be used from the handset.
