Happy due date Chakani for yesterday, don't know whether I'm coming or going with the list, it's very busy with impending babies! :T:T
The alien has been head down in every scan since 20 weeks and I can feel the head just resting on my pelvis....physio confirmed earlier that that could be causing some of my pain but there is definite shift in the right hip as well so am sooo hoping the belt will at least make it a bit easier to get about as I still have so much to do lol....I don't think I have any comfy trousers left and can't wear my long skirts as much as I would like coz I can't wear tights underneath either boohooo, lol.....went a got some leggings from Matalan so am being a slummy mummy in the house atm and they aren't so bad.....Morning Ladies
Today is the day I absolutely have to tell my boss! Must stop putting it off and just get it over and done with!
On a better note just ordered some lovely sleepsuits from the Next sale £6.50 for 3 and free delivery. I ordered in pink and blue and will ebay the other set depending on the sex of bubs. Got myself some maternity jeans as well as Im currently wearing the same pair of jeans every day as they are quite stretchy but not sure how much longer they will last.
Hope everyone is well - can't remember anything I have read except Happy Due Date Chakani!
My boss joked with me about 4 weeks before i found I was preggers that I better not end up getting preggers as it would drive her to nervous breakdown.....I was worried about telling her and it took me a few days but as soon as I told her she was fine although throughout the pregnancy she kept telling me her horror stories which I didn't really appreciate lol......in the end I told her that every pregnancy was different and I hoped that mine would progress well......you will be fine sweetie xxxx
Edited to add labour and non sticky vibes to Flower72...hope bubs comes along before Wednesday and Big Hugs to Nic xxxxxThe pod landed and produced baby Timothy on 10th March 20110 -
Morning everyone. Just caught up with thread and have forgotten everything! Labour vibes to those that need them good luck on telling your boss Apricot. Went to the baby sale at the weekend , it was mostly clothes so didnt really get that much. Got a cream M+P's play mat/gym thing for a tenner , and the lady flung in the teddies you can fasten to pram or moses basket :money: Got a gorgeous baby dressing gown for 6-12 months. Doubt it will ever be used but for £1 I couldnt walk past. Got two cream long sleeved tops , one with little cream bears printed all over and the other with one big brown bear in the middle. Never been worn, also got a wee reversible cotton jacket thing. If you knew what sex you were having you couldve bought loads, they also had alot of really good prams and car seats. Had a bad experience on sat night , me and my OH got a chinese along with sister and her OH and we were all sick apart from OH (he had beef , we had chicken) I was very very sick , I had all broken veins in my face due to the force of it (sorry for TMI) my OH was at his wits end , he thought I was in labour , lol. Anyhoo he phoned the chinese who were not bothered in the slightest:mad: Not sure if I should phone the midwife today? They cant do anything really but I was having severe cramps and vomits. Anyhoo I was wondering if you girls could help , I need to buy some jeans , boyfriend ones , only want to spend about £25 max , need them in a size ten , cant find any now that Ive been paidThanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

Im having a rubbish morning already. OH's car is in the garage after the suspension went last Monday. I had to walk all last week and he took my car. God knows how much it will cost.
Ive just looked out the MOT etc for my car to tax it, and noticed the MOT was up on the 29th of JanI know it needs tyres and possibly the brakes looked at. So thats 2 cars needing sorted and car tax all due asap.
plus we have to pay the rent before tomorrow and the huge electicity and gas direct debits.
i feel sick with it all. ive only got enough to pay for the tax and my half of the gas etc which means OH will have to pay for the rest. I feel really bad that I cant contribute more.
Thanks god feb is a short month. looks like we will be eating pasta for a month.
Sorry to hear you are having car trouble, mine is poorly at the moment as well. I dread to think what it's going to ost to fix it.
I'm sure you already know this but without a valid/current MOT certificate your car is not covered by your insurance. If anything were to happen you would be prosecuted for driving without insurance, as well as all the other implications of having no insurance so worth knowing before anyone thinks about driving it.0 -
Apricot - Hope telling the boss wont be so bad, I didn't tell mine til I was 16 weeks, but he took it pretty well....
Nic - Hugs on the car, they drive me mad, my car tax is due tomorrow and i've decided not to tax it..... OH having 4 weeks off when bubs comes so dont really need it at the minute, so i'll just tax it at end of Feb when i'll need to drive again. I need a new tyre too.....
Been back to bed this morning, still feel 'off' it, nothing I can put my finger on, just fed up I guess..... Gonna log into work for a couple of hours til DS comes home from school...... Now I think about it, not really felt bubs move this morning......Challenges - repay all credit cards by end of 2015Starting the savings for retirement :rotfl:

Apricot - Good luck with telling the boss. I was worried about telling mine but its made things so much easier at work. I actually found out this week that they thought I was taking advantage being in the loo so often! Im surprised they didnt click to be honest. At least now they know what is going on and that Im not just shirking my work!:j0

Yeah I knew that but OH is away to work in it and my job today was to look out the MOT so we could tax it. we both thought it was up in March. Luckily we had to tax it now or I probably wouldnt of known until March.
My Oh has booked it into a garage near his work for tomorrow first thing and he is having to get 2 buses home tonight. It is 28 miles away and a terrible road for accidents for him to even risk driving it back.
On an even worse note, the garage called me 10 mins ago to tell me that BOTH front springs were broken!! how that happened ill never know as he said the driver one has been broken for a while. We only got it in October and its not under warranty anymore.
I feel sick thinking how unsafe it has been with us all driving around in it in the snow etc.
bah I hate cars!!!:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -

I was considering putting it off the road for a month so we could save up but we have no where for it to sit thats not on a public road. Ive also never filled out one of those SORN thingies, so I wouldnt know where to start.
But after having to walk up and down to school all this week I dont think I could do without it.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
Hope you all guessed that my absence from the thread was due to the late arrival of our LO onto planet earth - so I am finally relinquishing my place at the top of the charts (although I think I was there so long somebody already kicked me off!).
Yes, our gorgeous (ok mummy is biased) daughter, Nina Rose was born at 5.25 am on Friday 28th January (exactly 42 weeks) weighing 8lb 6ozs.
Birth was nothing like I planned, but it really matters for little in the end.
I'll post on the birth stories thread later if anyone wants to read.
Also photos coming your way sometime today.
Right now, off to introduce myself to the parents thread as I feel utterly at sea about so many things.
Congratulations to OxoClaire and hope you're making good progress OTE. Will be checking in on you ladies especially Giz, Chakani etc who are due soon and have journeyed together with.
Love to everyone else whatever stage you're at enjoy the ride!We Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.0 -
