Congratulations bargainprincess, I was wondering if your absence meant you were enjoying mummycuddles.

Look forward to seeing photos when you have time.

I had my sister with me for DD1 but because I was on my own and there was no other willing volunteers lol... (I did have thoughts of not telling anyone and just going to hospital on my own... But when it came to it, I was too scared so just rang her lol)

Hubby was my only birth partner last time, my aunt was my second choice but she was in the contagious part of chemo at the time so it wasn't safe for her to be at the hospital unfortunately... She's going to be there for this one though hopefully... She's like my best friend... Plus DH gets on with her and I think he was terribly bored last time lol... Although at one point it looked like my Mum was going to hang around for DD2 to be born, but when they checked me and I was only 3cm she went off sharpish lol... She did come back at 1am for a cuddle and to give DH a lift home though bless her lol...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

    I quite liked my TENS
And then I dropped it down the toilet while it was on and nearly killed myself ;) After that I couldn't use it obviously - and I didn't really miss it, but it was nice to have.

Oh crickey, is it really bad that I just burst out laughing at this!!! :p Sorry Lilian, I hope it didn't smart for too long!!!!!

Charlie - Love the name Jackson.!! Boys names are what are tripping us up at the moment and I know what you mean about liking a name but not loving it. I think we are just going to wait until sprog is here and see if that helps any!!! lol

MV - awhhh, that is the cutest little man!!!!!

Lilian - Sam looks like he's got the movie star pose down already!!! Adorable. Well, perhaps not so much in the second one!!!!! lol

Giz - I have yet to have anyone at all think we are having a girl, everyone thinks it will be a boy. We are team yellow like you!!!

BP - huge congratulation on the birth of baby Oliver!!!!!:T

Well, was at my third class today and it was a hoot!! We were doing breastfeeding and first thing I managed to do when I sat down was drop the dolly onto the floor. The two girls next to me cracked up and said "oh well, that's you dropped the baby already"". Needless to say, we had a scream through the class. Teacher played about with a sock puppet to show us latching and it was all decorated and everything. We had to try soooo hard not to laugh at her!!!!
I was knackered when I got home at lunchtime  and didn't sleep very well but I am sure that means I will be dead to the world tomorrow. Here's hoping.

Names wise. With me being 38 most of the names that I have liked over the years have been used by friends and family. I always liked megan and heather then my cousin had twins and yes, she called them megan and heather!! Typical.

One of the guys at my work had a new addition to the family today. His daughter (they have a DS already) was born on the living room floor after his wife had been in labour for a whole 1 hour!!!!! Cecily is what they have called her. Unusual certainly.
Another friend had a little girl last week and called her Ailsa which I think is just lovely!!

Well, not sure if DH will have watched OBEM this week like he did last week but every night I see him he comes out with something new to surprise me that he's obviously doing some homework. I'm very proud of him!!!!:j

Ho hum, off back to do a little work. Gets in the way of a good forum so it does!!! lol
Perhaps catch the insomniacs later on!!!! Although in the nicest sense, I hope not!!! :D

Nice to see that the insomniacs club was quiet last night. I'm taking that as a good thing!!!

Have a lovely day ladies, labour vibes to those in need, sticky vibes to those who want and general hugs to everyone else!!!

I am sooooo going to be looking forward to getting to my bed this morning. 6 more shifts and I will be just about on maternity leave!!!! Wooo Hooooo

I'm 40 & we have the same problem. Really excited though as last night we finally settled on a name for our little boy & I absolutely love it :j I can't say on here as we are keeping it quiet for now but I'll let everyone know as soon as we decide to go public with it :)

    Hello girls

Have to jump in while you're talking about names.......

I've fallen in love with a name for a girl (and I think DH has too!) but it would give her the initial A R S. Not good. If the two first names are hyphenated, would her initials be A S? Much better........ :D

Oh - and congrats to BP!! :T:T

    xDx

    Morning ladies :D

Oh so tired. Still got a poorly wee girl, that's been since Thursday night. Going to have to phone doc I think, not sure if they will/can do anything but she is just not right. :(

Had a terrible sleep last night, DD was in the room with us and kept whimpering in her sleep and I don't know how bubs was lying but the pain when I tried to sleep on my side. It felt like I had a massive stitch round the whole of my uterus. Bump felt so heavy too. Going to have to get pillows sooner rather than later I think.
