Here is the love ladies, I am in labour, in hosptail, contracting, posting to you lot :0)

I cam in in the end at about half 2, was assessed and checked to see how far gone, it was a bit like a sweep bt more vigour!

Was still only 1cm dilated but as I've had a past c/s and contractions getting stronger approx every 5 mins, I have been kept in.

So been on the ward since about 4, apparently I'll get a cup of tea soon hrrah!!

Contastions just still manageable-i did have a few pffs of gas and air last night, might have to think about it again! Am being assessed at
9 to make a plan!

Apologies for waffling and spellings-this has taken about 20 mins to write as had several contractions and I'm on my b/berry.

But to be fair there is little else to do here, ladies bring magazines!!!!

Thanks emsy, glad, SS etc who got us our thread back, we'll promise to be good.

Chickywiggle I was going to pm you about emsys thread but for some reason I thought i saw you on it. You weren't left out I just though you'd seen it, sorry hunny.

Dusty I was also wakened at 5am with extreme pressure on my bladder, thankfully l drifted off again.

Emsy so glad it's all happening for you right now. Can't believe your in labour and still posting, it's brilliant being kept up to date. They might make you put it down at the pushing bit. Goodluck hope it stays manageable for you, sounds like your doing great. Do you have your Doula there?

Hope you're already cuddling mini-woo, emsy, or if not that your G&A is hitting the spot nicely.

It's very nice to see you all back in your natural habitat and please do pop into the PT whenever you like. We got a reputation for being cliquey and nasty from somewhere and I hope you're not all put off by it (not at all because we love teeny babies and need more of them). Best of luck to all of you for uneventful pregnancies, textbook labours and no tearing

Baby Charlotte Elizabeth (7lb 1oz) arrived on 11/11/10 at 15.29 by c/section. Mummy is feeling worse than baby so send lots of get well soon vibes to her. xxxx
