What do you do with Castor Oil? What does it taste like? x

    Horrible, horrible, horrible,
think of decomposed lizards, being liquidised with additional cheapest coooking oil, then drinking it.
    yuk, yuk, yuk.

Mind you have lovely shiny hair in a couple of days.:D
and thats not on your head.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.
  • Hopefully this will be our new home for longer than 10 minutes! :rotfl:

Have made use of the past two days. Firstly I picked up my free changing bag from Boots, used the £3 voucher for Pampers that they sent me to and got a pack of newborn Pampers plus the bag for the grand total of 74p :j

Then this evening OH and I went back to Mamas and Papas to look at prams again. We originally wanted to look at the Sola again but in the end tried the M & P Zoom and both fell in love with it. It was on special offer so we ended up biting the bullet and buying it  It feels very real now we've brought a pram - it was out of stock so we have to wait for another delivery but they reckon it will arrive around the middle of December but it's not like we are in any hurry for it.

So thats another thing ticked off the list :T picking up our crib tomorrow too :D

Pineapples you need to eat about 8 or somthing insane of to get the right amount of the chemical in them to do anything - castor oil... yuck... sorry but eurgh!
Curry - doubt it'll work but heck if you like curry it's a jolly good excuse to have one!!!

Little Miss was 5 days overdue - she arrived the day I was due a sweep thankfully! Personally looking back I realise she arrived when she was supposed to :) On my nan's birthday who'd passed away when I was about 5 months pregnant with Little Miss :) Nanna was obviously wanting to tell me that she was looking over my baby girl during her difficult birth :)
And yet I'd forgotten it was Nan's birthday until my father replied to DH saying he had a feeling she'd arrive that day...

Don't get me wrong - I was hoping she'd arrive about 2-3 weeks early as I was SO fed up of looking and feeling like a LARGE beached whale by then :)

Things happen when they happen :)

  • Please please please don't use castor oil, my neighbour is a midwife and has some real horror stories where mums to be have taken castor oil to induce labour. It is not safe to do so either for mum or baby.

I'm a mum of four and will tell you that a baby will only come when ready, though having a bit of a cuddle;) with hubby always seems to help.

Try a long walk first, good luck

  • Make the most of this time before baby comes. The only thing you can do with any proof of it working is having some 'loving' with your other half. Bubs will appear when he's good and ready.
