weve only been in our house for just over a month and with Scottish Hydro they are taking £75 for Electric and £53 for gas. It seems so expensive. Im dreading the first bill coming in. especially having the heating on so much.
Giz and madbird you are both paying so much less than me
:eek: jeez I thought i was bad with £33 and £35 we are going to have to increase our leccy too as we owe them money after they stopped taking money out...morons! We're with Scottish Hydro too and have been for years, might be a plan to start looking into changing. In fact I will need to look at a few things car Insurance etc and see where i can start making savings. That will be my plan for ML"That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0 -
sold oh's car today (thank goodness) so thats 900 extra to have for maternity fund
Im really not in a great way today - very emotional and feel like crying I could really do with a hug - got all this stuff going on and around my head and feel like I have noone to talk to because either I dont want to burden them or I genuinely think they wont understand
phoned the midwife dept today to organise a blood test and the woman was so rude to me that I had to hang up as I nearly started crying so now im 30 weeks and still had no blood tests
sorry for the deppressive rant/whinge im off to eat some chocolate
some good things to try to make myself smile
* Sold car and made 900
* I have chocolate
* only 10 weeks til I meet my new lil one
* getting waxed tonight (like the thought of a bit of pampering)
* pixies rant made me laugh
Rant away Annibee! When you feel like that sometimes its hard to describe how you are feeling to someone, but somehow writing it down helps... and you ended your post on a positive :T:T:T Congrats on selling the car!Yeah on getting car sold and having chocolate. I have just had a Lidls snicker type bar, it was soooo nice but I have horrendous heartburn now LOL!
I just ate a Lidl Mars Bar type bar... and the result was the same as yours! Ouch! LOL!:j Baby #1 due 25/02/11 :j0 -
I have a wee question here.
Has anyone got any experience of sweeps? I'm gonna have one next week and feel a bit unsure about it... How are they done, how do they feel?
I really dislike smear tests with a passion - they make me feel like I'm going to vomit. Please tell me it's not the same feeling at all
Mi3, you said, you're having one tomorrow. Will you let me know?0 -
Lovehearts are great for heartburn (for me anyway).
I lived in a flat by myself for a couple of years and worked away from home 5 days a week so wasn't there very often. They wanted to take £30 each for gas and electric  They eventually reduced it to £10 each a month until my credit with them had been reduced (and sent me a cheque for £100) A month after the credit was cleared they sent me a letter saying they wanted to put it back up. Ummmm....do you not read my account details??
Period pains stopped last night :j but this afternoon they're backand it feels like I need a poo. Am refusing to let it be anything other than either sproglet lying awkwardly or just some practising by my innards. Especially as I just had my MW appointment postponed from today til saturday.
Have too much to do. You stay put little monster. It's nice and warm in there. If having different experiences, thoughts and ideas to you, or having an opinion that you don't understand, makes me a troll, then I am proud to be a 100% crying, talking, sleeping, walking, living Troll. :hello:0 -

Think I had one last time - it was fine nothing like a smear test which is awful it was just a couple of fingers going round in a circle - was weird like it is when anyone but your oh goes up there - but not bad and not painful!I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.

Annibee you are simply fabulous :T
Just the answer, I needed to calm me down. I had visions of being treated like a cow on a vet TV programme
I should stay away from Google, it's bad for me :rotfl:0 -

I realised last night the thing I'm most scared about in regards to labour is the possibility that I might....*ahem* defecate during it as I hear that some people do. I mean what will the midwifes do if that happens?! Sorry... it's a bit of a TMI question.A-Z Challenge: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ

From what I've been told, they'll discreetly wipe it off or fish it out of the birthing pool without telling you that you've just defecated.
All that pregnancy/ labour malarkey is just a like total loss of dignity, isn't it?0 -

I know! I'm going to feel so exposed! And all men have to do is sit there, completely clothed and with their dignity intact. It's so unfairA-Z Challenge: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ
