Oh I forgot to say - did anyone else get a Hipp Organic comforter blanket in the post today along with a sleep guide? It's great
I don't know if it's something you get when you're due or if they're sending to everyone at the moment so look out for it x

Ooh no, not yet. But I do recall it saying you get it toward the end of the pregnancy so maybe I should get mine soon
I'm also waiting for my Bumgenius Nappy. I'm sure it said they sent them out at 34 weeks. Anyone have the voucher still that can let me know what it says? I'm not even sure if they've paid the cheque in.Baby Giz born 6/2/110 -
I have to pay for my prescriptions. Well not now that I'm pregnant but before I did. Are they free for everyone in Northern Ireland?
Yes they went free for everyone in Northern Ireland last year but I thought it had happened all over :SThe pod landed and produced baby Timothy on 10th March 20110 -

PC and Giz - me too on the leakage. euuuwww.
Well I was awake at 4am this morning, and just lay there until about 5.45 when I finally nodded back off, only to be woken at 6 by the alarm.
Last working day tomorrow, and I've booked half of it off. All feels quite weird to be honest. I think it'll sink in once I've left though.
Not much to say for me. I'm a bit blaaahhhh from lack of sleep.
Enjoy your last day- and a good lie in the day after.
I've not posted in a while but i've been reading other people's posts though- well as many as i can as this thread moves fast. Had guests for two weeks over Christmas and work is keeping me busy too.
So to update:
We had the 20 week scan on Wednesday and all is well, baby is healthy and measured on track for 20.5 weeks which is exactly where we thought. We decided not to find out the sex since he/she is our first and a surprise will be nice. Variety of blood tests they've been stabbing me for have all come back normal so I'm a lot more relaxed now than I was earlier in the pregnancy.
I feel massive but people aren't noticing I'm pregnant unless I tell them because I'm generally wearing looser clothing particularly for work. So far I've spent about £200 on bigger tops, maternity pants, bigger bras and knickers etc. I hope I can get back to normal after baby's born I look like my aunties .
From 16.5 weeks I've felt movement and its getting more vigorous every day so I've finally managed to believe I'm pregnant- kept thinking I'd imagined the whole thing:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.
Mum bought us the Silvercross pram with free carseat from Mothercare:T:T:T:T. And this weekend I bought a microwave steriliser (Phillips Avent) which is on sale at argos (£17.99). It comes with four bottles, measuring cup and tongs. We already have the Phillips Avent newborn starter set of bottles from tesco so this is fab. Link:

Work has started today on our final house renovation project- hall, stairs, landing and a long-awaited downstairs loo. Whoopie!!!:T:T.
So hopefully by the time I am truly huge I won't have to go up the stairs as often:rotfl::rotfl:.
Where do you get a pregnancy exemption certificate? Do you get it with the MatB1 form at 25 weeks or do you have to ask for it?

evening ladies!
newbie to join please.......:) long time lurker but going to make the effort to post as I'm starting to get a bit panicky the nearer it gets...... still got weeks to go but suddenly feel as if i've bought nothing and won't be sorted by the time bubs is here!!
i'm 23 weeks pregnant with first baby, due date 12th may, can someone add me to list please? they have already said i'll be started off at 37/38 weeks due to gestational diabetes, no idea if boy or girl - i swear it plays hide and seek and i've had 4 scans!! it goes and hides and faces my back and just shows it's bum lol
wanted to ask though - i think i've just started to feel bubs move, blaming the fact that i'm size 20 for it been quite late lol.. i've been feeling odd "popping" sensations in my tummy (not sure how else to explain it) but the last couple of days they've been very frequent, gotta be bubs right?
oops didn't mean to type so much....0 -
Welcome Zebusi and never worry about how much you type, being a lurker you will have noticed some of us head off into little rants hehe
My first feelings with Al were like butterflies and popping so I would say that probably is what you are feeling

Hi Zebusi and welcome
I'm 26 weeks this week and have only really felt bubs moving this last week or so. Some people describe it as popping sensations, mine are more like being stroked from the inside.Baby Ice arrived 17th April 2011. Tired.com! :j0 -
Flufysox - We have same pushchair
I got my exemption form at my first appointment with GP but think you can ask GP or midwife.
