Well, the builders drilling is doing my nut in so I'm hitting the shops. Reeeelaxed to the max that I need to get out of here!

Got to pick up my S&G set (and then send back as I'm skint so need the refund besides I still have 1 for me and 2 hatboxes from last year!) and might spend my £2 Boots haircare voucher plus I've seen a nice t-shirt on-line in New Look. Oooo, and have to pick up my isofix base for the car seat and get it fitted in Halfords.

Looking forward to going away next week but will have to be minimal in the hot tub!

We now have a new cotbed, rocker chair and a highchair for Lily coming Thursday. Was such a faff to arrange delivery, the boy who served us said he doesn't know how to do deliverys and just disappeared!
After a while we asked someone else to help and he sorted it for us

We have £23 left on our giftcard so might treat Lily to something

I had a great day sales shopping at Bluewater, Lasted a lot longer than I thought! Bought some stuff for the baby too, so all good.

My most exciting news is that we ordered our buggy today :j It was a bit of a faff in John Lewis, but we got there eventually, and I am now the proud owner of an iCandy Apple Jogger a la:

As you know, I was huffing and puffing over the buggy and I was all set to go for the Mountain Buggy when I saw the Apple and fell in love :smileyhea :rotfl: I know, I'm officially crazy!

The parents have left today, so tonight I get to relax and chill out! I'm knackered! But boo to work tomorrow

Does anyone know when the new series of One Born... starts? I still haven't watched the Xmas episodes today - might catch up tonight.

Still lurking here for a few weeks but it starts on 10th January - not sure what time. There is an episode on tonight at 7.15 though - not sure if it is part of the Christmas special or what.

Ooh yes, just seen it's on Channel 4 - looks like highlights of the Xmas shows. Have recorded it so will watch the original ones first!

Thanks Teenie. We are very fortunate in that we were able to utilise a family member's generous store discount to get the Apple as DH wasn't willing to pay full price
