I'm terrible for using a kirby grip in my ears I hate the feeling of cotton wool.

We always stay in on Hogmanay (no choice really) we get nice nibbles from M&S some cava and watch rubbish telly. Usually in bed for 12:30am.

I spend early evening making the steak pie for New years day.

We're staying in NYE as well - haven't been out for a few years now. Nice nibbles and prosecco is generally the order of the day!

I loathe NYE...the programmes looking back on the year always make me cry and there's this sort of feverish rush to have the wildest best time ever. Everything is overpriced. Babysitters are not reliable.

And if you try to organise anything, people never commit to the last minute to see if they get a better offer.

Wow I'm really jaundiced aren't I??!!

Sorry for the self indulgant rant but I am sooooooo peed off with DH. He has been a complete d**k and we had a massive row and now we're not talking. I'm too angry to post the details. He has in the last few minutes tried to apologise but it's too little too late. Grrrrrrrrr :mad::mad::mad: I'm now sulking in the bedroom wondering what to do for the rest of the night. Might have to do some online shopping...on hubby's credit card :laugh:
