Hey everyone!

Scan went really well this morning, got there okay, we only had a sugar dusting of snow at that point, thanks Ice and Cutterby.

And... It's a girl! She's doing well. She was waving and stretching, which was good because her cord was in the way to start with!

My mum was with us and she loved it. We went into the shops afterwards and she bought her her first pink outfit, very cute. Also got 2 gorgeous blankets from Primark, lovely and soft.

Glad we came home when we did though as the snow has gotten quite heavy now.

Sammy, thanks for the Next heads-up, just registered. Also, I've had my flu jab, think it's even more important this year if you have a chronic condition, but that's just my view.

Good luck to everyone else with scans x.

And I can't remember anything else!

I am going to try to level the cake and glue it together with butter icing oh and hope for the best lol.

I have really bad heart burn, its really annoying me!

Im watching Natalie Cassidy becoming mum. And i keep crying lol.

Because she had a contract with ok magazine no one was allowed to see the baby until after the mag comes out. Even family and friends :eek:

That's what I want to know! I haven't bought any nursing bras. A friend told me to wait until bubs is born. Do you even need nursing bras? Are they a necessity? Just trying to be MSE.

Nice to have so much money that you can buy what you like Only a tiny bit jealous.

Anyway, thanks EA, not watched a lot of this series (not baby related enough for me), but will watch this episode on E4+1.

with DS1 mine went up 1 size + 1 cup size. with DS2 they have already done that and I'm not due till May 1st. Wait till about 8 months then buy some i'd say.

Done the cake yet?

I've made mince pies, sausage rolls and cup cakes. I've only eaten 3 sausage rolls and 2 cup cakes, so there should be enough for my colleagues tomorrow!

Have you tried milk for heartburn? It's my saviour. I haven't even had to touch gaviscon yet.

RE: Maternity Bras - Maybe wait until towards the end of the pregnancy and see what size? Mine have already grown twice, so I will leave it as long as I can. I think the main advantage of them is they have those little clips where you can drop the cup easily. Although DH thought the nippleless bras from Ann Summers would do the trick *rolleyes* :eek::o
