Have added Salski. Wonder how Catwoman is getting on, don't think she has been on today has she? Hopefully things are happening, or have already happened!

ETA: meant to ask you earlier Ice, have you started feeling anything yet? If not I think you should phone midwife, just to put your mind at ease.

    Hi Teenie

Not felt anything as yet, well I don't THINK I have. I have been aware of a sensation, not cramps exactly but something? Sounds daft I know. It doesn't feel like butterflies like other people have described so I am not sure? Maybe I am willing myself to feel something ?

That was me. We deleted more than we kept and those we kept had to have quite a bit of photoshopping to sort out my mottled, veiny belly!!! I think Demi might have gone to the tanning shop first.
Yeah I did a fair bit of photoshopping too :) I need to think about where to store them. I'd hate for my baby to one day come across them!

I don't think I'm going to batch cook as such. I usually do tomato pasta sauce anyway, so I'll make sure I do this before going into labour. Most of our dinners are simple and OH is more than capable of cooking. We're pretty much meat, potato and 2 veg type people.

I hope catw0man is OK. I missed her post before (missed a whole page). Lets hope she is having mummy cuddles, and if not then very soon.

10 working days until maternity leave starts :j

I think my belly button has officially popped. Thankfully it's not too big, but it's just above the surface now :o

I think I know what you mean, I never felt butterflies it was more of a sensation that it felt like there was something there but it was more like something pressing rather than a movement?

Not a pressing as such, like an sensation thats bordering on the uncomfortable but isn't actually uncomfortable. Its really low down not at the front of my tunmmy as I was expecting!

    Welcome Salski. :D

 welcome to Team Blue Digital! I had 4D scan Sunday (pic loads of pages back) and the detail is brilliant. Could see him yawning, rubbing his eyes, cuddling up to the placenta and everything, oh and a big scowl because the cord was in his face! :rotfl: So would recommend.

My husband did all the cooking when I was pregnant because of how ill I was but we still found it invaluable in the first couple of weeks with a baby that all we had to do for dinner was pull something out of the freezer and stick it in the microwave. It didn't just save the work of making stuff but also the mental effort of organising food and meant we also didn't need to do as much food shopping.

Yeah that's right, my first movements were really low, way below my belly button (probably just above my ahem lady garden :o:D). Mine have moved up now and are still slightly below my belly button.

Lol @ lady garden! :rotfl::rotfl: So i am going to monitor these movements however if you blink you will miss some of them! If I am not feeling more by the time my 24 week appointment comes round in 16 days I'll ask the MW. In the meantime I am trying not to worry.

  • Hello - Rant Alert!!!!!!

I am in soooo much pain. My bump is killing me. It has been rock solid all day, its a struggle to breath sometimes and I'm feeling really rubbish.
Does anyone know what this could be or is this all part and parcel of being pregnant. I am 31 weeks tomorrow.
