Am back in work today (can't say that I am feeling much better but didn't want to leave them in the lurch for much longer than necessary especially when I am going to be taking off on Monday at 11am to go see my MW lol) of course when I go to write anything someone either wants something or the phone goes, lol

DM I would be having a word with the CM this evening when you get home....FB can actually drain your whole self and leave you powerless to get off it....I should know I am an addict so I know exactly what I would be saying to her

Labour vibes to all in need and if I have missed anyone who has given birth I do apologise profusely but my little brain is finding it hard to cope with work and typing at the same time :P hehe

Charlotte is absolutely gorgeous but is currently sporting a very sexy thrush covered mouth...fun! I'm loving being a Mum and luckily managed to be up and about in time for hubbys return to work...was touch and go for a day or so as movement is still limited but I can do enough so Charlotte is tended to and I can look after myself

Had a great natural labour until I hit 9cm dilated and they realised she was bum 1st...got the option of delivering her naturally but all I could think of was 3rd degree tears, so copped out and went for the section w/epidural...wrong decision that was! They managed to nick my bladder and I lost 1.5 lt of blood:eek: and was in hospital for a while until I persuaded them I could cope with a catheter at home:o That got removed a couple of days ago and I feel tonnes better, especially as I'm now wearing jeans and not maternity clothes and I'm just 3lb over my pre-preg weight:T:T I was gobsmacked! Anyway, had a horrendous time of it post-labour but we're both ok and loving being at home.
Will post a birth story whenever I get more than a minute...we're still getting uber visitors due to me being in hospital for so long plus people checking that I am actually ok:)
The worst part about all of it was the fact that my Mum was stuck in hospital in Manchester and me in Derby:( My parents didn't get to see her til she was 9days old!!! Very hard to deal with but at least they've seen her now and are smitten Can't believe my little princess is 15 days old....I feel a bit bad about neglecting you all for so long:o:o

Hope alls well with you lot and you're cooking those babies nicely...will remain in lurkdom now when I have the time:) Hoping to get into a routine pretty sharpish now DH is back at work, might help me pull my finger out and actually get stuff done lol

Hey chic, don't know if you remember me - we were on TTC together what feels like a milion years ago! Anywho I've been a-lurking waiting for news on you & bubs and just wanted to say a HUGE congrats to you and your OH on the arrival of Charlotte. You waited such a long time to get your babe and I'm delighted all is now well (although sorry you had a rough time, eek at nicked bladder!).

Your little lady is beautiful - my Ryan says would she consider a 7 month old for a boyfriend!?

Sorry I have been awol - thanks for the FB message Teenie - that's very kind of you

I started the week incredibly busy at work on Monday and Tuesday with no time for MSE and exhausted in the evenings. And from Wed to today I've been on some mad DIY-fest that I haven't had time to go online. Shocking I know - and I missed catching up with you guys.

So I haven't read back yet - so will do now.

Wow that is mad!! My bump moves alot but not quite as much as that (enough to give the mw a fright though!) I keep meaning to video it too!
