Ive done that, sent her an IM asking how dd is. Its not the first time she has been on fb but she isnt usually logged in to be able to IM, think she usually just checks from her phone. Hmm, she has replied saying that dd is fine and being good, now what. I dont think she 'gets' that people arent going to be happy about her being on there whilst supposedly looking after our children.

All in all she is a good childminder and dd loves her but Im not all that pleased about this. Oh well dd only there til Xmas then onto someone else after as childminder goes on maternity leave. Think she is starting to 'wind down' so to speak due to her impending maternity.

Ah, that's pretty crap huh!! I guess there is an element of the younger generation just not getting it!!! Oh, I sound like my mother!!!! But they seem to think it's okay to spend all day on things like FB and the like.
Like you, I wouldn't be happy at all.
I guess from the winding down point of view, it's no excuse but I can see me being like that about my work already..... But I don't look after someone else's daughter for a living!!!
I hope you find some way of sorting it out......

How did I get so close to the top of the list?!?!?!

I had the MW this morning, 4/5 engaged and measuring 41 weeks - we know he will be a big baby! There was a health visitor in with her today and was learning how to palpate a bump and I was really pleased, my MW descibed me as having an ace bump :D:D Aparently my skin over the bump is so thin that you can fell all the limbs really well And bum was sticking right out too - didn't give the MW a fright this week though!

Charlotte is absolutely gorgeous but is currently sporting a very sexy thrush covered mouth...fun! I'm loving being a Mum and luckily managed to be up and about in time for hubbys return to work...was touch and go for a day or so as movement is still limited but I can do enough so Charlotte is tended to and I can look after myself

Had a great natural labour until I hit 9cm dilated and they realised she was bum 1st...got the option of delivering her naturally but all I could think of was 3rd degree tears, so copped out and went for the section w/epidural...wrong decision that was! They managed to nick my bladder and I lost 1.5 lt of blood:eek: and was in hospital for a while until I persuaded them I could cope with a catheter at home:o That got removed a couple of days ago and I feel tonnes better, especially as I'm now wearing jeans and not maternity clothes and I'm just 3lb over my pre-preg weight:T:T I was gobsmacked! Anyway, had a horrendous time of it post-labour but we're both ok and loving being at home.
Will post a birth story whenever I get more than a minute...we're still getting uber visitors due to me being in hospital for so long plus people checking that I am actually ok:)
The worst part about all of it was the fact that my Mum was stuck in hospital in Manchester and me in Derby:( My parents didn't get to see her til she was 9days old!!! Very hard to deal with but at least they've seen her now and are smitten Can't believe my little princess is 15 days old....I feel a bit bad about neglecting you all for so long:o:o

Hope alls well with you lot and you're cooking those babies nicely...will remain in lurkdom now when I have the time:) Hoping to get into a routine pretty sharpish now DH is back at work, might help me pull my finger out and actually get stuff done lol

I went to see a-ha last night, it was excellent. Hope bubs wasn't too upset with the loud music.

Have a day off work today and was hoping to go and do some xmas shopping bt a delivery I am waiting for that I hoped would turn up this morning hasn't yet. Just called them and they said 2-3pm. So I am just doing some little jobs around the house instead.

Hope everyone is ok and labour vibes to those that need them x x
