That's a good idea about the mattress covers - I will check them for crinkliness...
The knickers are great - sort of the knicker equivalent of a string vest..... but possibly also quite useful!!Baby Giz born 6/2/110 -
I tell you what... my ma bought me some of them disposable knickers after my last C Section. I looked at her like she had gone flaming mad but they were the best thing EVER! Just chuck em away in a nappy sack and jobs a good un. I've seriously got to ask her where she got them from!

**Stumbles in** Hello fatties
Hope you are all good. James is 8 days today, and it has passed in a total blur :rotfl: :rotfl:
Just wanted to say congrats and appropriate vibes to all. So many of you were an utter support to me on this thread through the pregnancy, and many times I would have stumbled without you so a huge THANKYOU and lots of love and hugs xxxxxxxxxxx0 -
Aw Emsy it's so nice to hear from you. I was thinking about you and Fuzz the other day. xx"That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0

Oh and update on "the father"...........
I invited ex to see him on 17/11 in hosp, he came in, went home and then texted me at 1am, to say I either let him have full access as and when he wanted, on his terms, daily and at a time to suit him, or to not name him on the birth cert, not tell my son about his father, have no maint money, and to strictly never contact him again.
He said he wanted all or nothing.
Based on his behaviour in the past, and the fact I am about 90% sure he had drunk when he texted this, I opted for B. Not what I planned, but I was immobilised post surgery and felt totally put on the spot.0 -
Hi Emsy - Not got much advice, but maybe option B was the best one for your lil one and your family. Your ex was being so selfish it beggers belief, its his loss at the end of the day, he is the one missing out on your beautiful baby boy and one day that baby boy will turn into a man and your ex will have to explain why he walked away. Hugs xxx
