The majority of puppy owners do not (and should not) house train their dogs in your old fashioned way. It is much quicker, kinder and less messy to teach the dog using positive methods than it is to use your way.
Your comparison of a dog with a child is way off. If a child damages or steals something, you can explain why it is not appropriate. You can not do that with a dog.
Of course the puppies go out to play and I dont do the old fashioned way of training it was a friends suggestion to me and I was just sharing it. Now armed with other peoples suggests about this way of training I will go back and tell my friend not to be doing it.0 -

How about shooting the owner instead?
This animal is only doing what is natural to it. Obviously it's not nice for you which is why you should target the owner.
Taking 'revenge' on the animal is sick and cruel as has been suggested even maybe with tongue in cheek. If a baby crapped on someones front garden would you blame the baby or the parent? :rolleyes:0 -

Can you supply a name and address please as I reckon a few people would be interested in paying this 'friend' of your's a visit.0 -

I would but they know where I live and if they trace it back to me god help me. I will do something to them.
I am not going to even give my friends Gender. If I give out the Name or address it is against the Data Protection Act, and I could get sued.
If you know what I mean. If my friend does or tell me again I will take the dog off them.0 -

Not my suggestion my friends as you can see above. O wait if they do it I can strick they nose in it. That would be better, and payback for doing it to a dog.0 -

But please report it if you think the dog is being mistreated. I'm sure you wouldn't let a baby/child be treated badly so don't let it happen to an innocent woofer!0 -

Sadly have found that somebody is allowing (as opposed to a random cat/dog/fox) their dog to poo in my garden, there's a bit of a pattern around the same time and day and it seems to be a man in his early 20's who is opposed to scooping the poop. I have taken on board all your tips so hopefully the dog will soon refrain, if not, I am going to keep an eye out and try to reason with the owner. I am a dog lover and understand that it is not the dogs fault so any tips on how I can make this insensitive twit realise that it's his responsibility to clean his dogs mess with minimum fuss will be greatly appreciated.0
