A Nokia crossed with an iPhone running Android and BIS? Wow, never heard of that one :rotfl:
It makes about as much sense as coming on here and saying, "Which phone should I buy?" You might as well say, "I'm off down the sweet shop, what should I get?"If I've helped you please show your appreciation by using the "Thanks" button

I have an iPhone 4, I love it and would recommend it every time
The HTC Desire is a fab phone.
A word of advice: Don't get a Samsung phone, ever!
BlackBerry make pretty good phones too

I would love an iphone, but can't afford it.
Its looking good for the HTC desire (thanks!)
I wondered if anyone had any experience of any of these phones, and could recommend. I loved my xpress music for a while, but the freezes, and out of memory errors are getting annoying.
Is there a reason for not getting a samsung phone? I know they are slow to start up, but the Galaxy S looks good.0 -

It's just every Samsung phone I've had has broke or froze and I have ended up getting rid of it. I had the Galaxy S before my iPhone 4 and I couldn't get it to function for 10 minutes without freezing, but maybe it was a problem with my handset, I don't knowTarget Save £1k
So far £625/£1000 :j0 -

Thats good to know.
I've just done a search, and it seemed to be a problem, that may (or may not) have been fixed by updated firmware. I'll keep an eye out for more info.0 -
Have you considered a Samsung Wave? HD recording and virtually identical hardware specifications of a Galaxy S except the camera actually has a flash.
Battery life is not the greatest but when you turn off the 3G on the phone it lasts for days and in the 3 months I've had the phone it has not crashed once. Normally the deals you get are better than the ones on the Galaxy S simply down to the fact the OS is Bada as opposed to Android.
Bada means less apps but there is still a large selection of free apps on there (e.g. Monopoly, Need for Speed etc).
Swype is coming to the phone soon too in a firmware upgrade and it has full facebook/twitter/email integration.0 -
I've not heard of Bada before. Just looked it up, and the apps look fine. Not too different from whats offered with Ovi store. :beer:0

Shame tbh, Orange offer it but also do the Galaxy S... Due to the advertising campaign Samsung went on with the Galaxy S everyone chooses that but you get much better deals on the Wave.0

I ordered a desire for my daughter tonight from T mobile.
It was a 24 month contract and not 18.
The deal was £45 up front for the phone and a rate of £20 a month for ...
300 minutes
unlimited texts
unlimited ( 3gb I think) internet.
The only other thing I could get thrown in was free delivery.
I already have 2 other contract phones with T mobile. But I find it easier to talk about discounts phoning 0800 956 2208(sales) rather than phone 150.
The other 2 phones I have are HTC hero G2's and android is great ,but just like a PC operating system feels better with a faster processor ...Desire has this....... Also screen size matters once you get the habit of surfing on your phone.
My daughter does not make many phone calls so the reduced minutes was no problem.
Her first choice phone was the desire Z ..But T mobile don't sell it.
Don't accept the offer from the first sales person ..Phone a few times some are more flexible.0
