Just checking in to see how you are doing. Sorry you feel like wallowing - i do all the time - just sit there and know things need doing but just can't seem to get up and do it - feel very sorry for myself and generally very pathetic. But, if it helps at all, (probably not) some days are like that and some days I can't seem to stop doing things - feel like I've got a burst of energy. I have begun to realise (after a long time) so what if things dont get done, the worlds not going to stop, nothing bad is going to happen to someone etc
I felt great this morning then hubby phoned to say he was working over (they don't normally work over on a Friday and it feels like the only full night I have with him) so then got upset, put Mollie to bed at lunchtime but she woudn't go to sleep and i hate to admit it but I left her crying for over half an hour, felt like screaming at her just to shut up. Felt really guilty then as she was really sobbing so got her up so you're not alone sweetie, not at all.
Hope you feel better this evening - things will be get better, trust me, once the pills start to kick in you'll see a difference though there will be sad days, take every day as it comes. You've got a lovely weekend coming up and have a fantastic time. For the moment and this isn't going to sound very DFW but just forget about the money, your health and general well-being is much more important - look how far you've come - you will get back on track, just takes a little time.
Maybe we should start a PND support thread - just like the DMP one :rotfl:
Hope Ashli has a wonderful birthday and day out - and you make sure you have a good time too !!!!0 -
Have forced myself to look at the money because we need to buy nappies and petrol tonight plus we have an expensive weekend ahead with Ash's party and the safari party. It's not pretty but it's managable. Please bare with me while I make random workings out.. lol.
paid my dotty p's bill which arrived this morning which leave us with £200 in the bank
£200
-£20 driving lesson tues
-£10 petrol
-£70 for ash birthday/safari park
= £100 (til weds)
+ £82.53
=182.53
-£20 race for life money (£10 will get back from MIL)
- £30(?) Bt
-£4.47 house insurance
-£20 driving lesson
= £108.06/14 days = £7.71 a day
eh? That can't be right... hmmmmm oh wait I've forgotten the food budget..
£108.06-42.05 = £66.01 / 14 days = £4.71 a day
We get £82.43 tax credits on the 28th as well as £116.60 child benefit of the 27th but we really need to save these because of Ste's wages being lower this month. I hope I haven't forgotten anything.. Luckily we've already put aside the money for Ste's test he just needs to book it.
Argh stress! I hate not knowing what Ste's wages are going to be. The only way we're going to be able to pay off dotty p's next month and be ok to pay bills etc is to save the last tax credits and child benefit this month. Will have to try and explain it to Steve as it just seems to be making my head hurt and confusing me more whereas normally I know exactly what's what... hmmm.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Even with two very young children, all sort of stresses and strains, and a dose of PND, you are still so much more on top of your finances than I am! You really are an inspiration, and I hope you can remember that when you are having a 'low' day.
You seem to be feeling frustrated by your lack of progress in paying off your debts, but you have to remember that whilst you might not have cleared the Dorothy Perkins card, the reason for this is that you have bought a TV, which has reduced your bills, which, in the long term, will save you lots of money that you can throw at the rest of the debt.
Try not to worry, you are coping brilliantly xx"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
