IA - Just catching up on the goings on!
Problem with bosses is that she isn't going to care about your bills. I haven't come across a boss yet who ever truely gave a damn about his/her employees! But fingers are crossed that she pulls out hers.
And about the job - I too would rather have an experienced Mum looking after my kids than a college girl. It is still a good possibility you could be on the shortlist you know. Never give up until you hear otherwise!0 -

Hi IA,
What have you decided about TV?
(and here I was thinking I was brave with my 10lb 1.5 oz boy and 1 stitch!)

Well we've decided to get one. We've found one for £489 which is 37 inch LCD that does everything Steve could ever need/want. It does mean we'll have to buy a freeview box but that's no trouble. Total cost inc delivery and a freeview box will be about £521 so we'll have to use the £2 tv fund and we'll have £28 to get a stand with. I'm quite excited because it'll save us £36.59 a month AND we'll have a nice tv and Ste will finally stop going on about tvs a ll the time!!!

I hope you checked whether you could get cashback thro quidco or pigsback before ordering! We just ordered one from pixmania via quidco and had a £15 money off code and got nearly £12 cashback thro quidco, so make sure you try and get it tracked! Feels like I have been seriously slack at properly updating the past few days. Not much has happened TBH but the girls are both fine. Going to get K weighed again tomorrow so will update with that. Ashli's fine and cheeky as always. Can't believe she's 2 next week!!! She's growing up so fast, it doesn't seem 5 mins ago she was our little baby! *sob* She came into bed with us this morning for the first time since she was a tiny baby as I think she had a bad dream about 6.30am and I wasn't prepared to get up and dressed at that time of the morning, so I just put her in bed with us as she wouldn't stop crying in her cot. She just lay there chilled until we got up around 7.30. Ste was off today so he got K's bottle as she was hungry and we all just took our time getting up which was nice. Wasn't chaotic or stressful as usual. Normally I'm on my own trying to get Ashli sorted as well as Kaitlyn at the same time and it's a nightmare!
As for the debt challenge we're decided to definately get a new tv. We currently rent a tv for nearly £40 a month and after much umming and ahhing we've decided to use the £480 we were going to pay dotty p's off with the buy a new tv instead so we can cancel the contract and save ourselves £40 a month which can then go towards debt. By paying off dotty p's we'd only be saving £19 a month so it makes more sense to do that and pay off dotty p's next month all being well. We also feel like it'd be nice to treat ourselves, especially as we're going to be better off for it too! This is the tv we're going to get..
Soo excited. Never been able to spend £500 on a tv and it's even better that
a)it won't be on credit
b)will actually save us money
c)We'll have an extra £36.59 to go towards debt.
d)we've worked really hard to be able to afford!
Will have the money to order it on the 21st... not long now!!!
Ooooh so exciting. Ste's beside himself as it means his xbox games will be EVEN BIGGER lol. Wonder what Ashli's going to think? Cbeebies is going to be HUUUUGE! lol!Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043
