SMA was £1 a tin less with DS (7yo) by time I had DD (nearly 4) there was pennies in price difference, but there was bigger savings on other brands. Don't know if they still do this or not.
If you are interested in getting your food bill down a bit further, look into making your own sauces, eg using chilli powder with a tin of tomatoes to make chilli-con- carne. Rice pudding can also be made with a little bit of pudding rice, but it takes a long time to cook, unless you have a slow cooker
Don't know if I have enough free time to make everything myself! I'm far off being delia smith! lolTotal 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

) and then adding the mix with water, with chilli powder just do the same, you can add more water if it's not 'juicy' enough and it's cost about same for the tub of chilli powder as it has for the mix and you've got loads of the powder left. Would just start shaving a little off your shopping bill.

Heard from my friend about the job... apparently they're now compiling a 'short list' which seems odd as apparently they really wanted me in for an interview by the end of the week
Personally I think they've changed their minds and decided against a young mum with 2 kids in tow..Although I'm perfectly qualified and able it's not like I've not got excess baggage compared to the newly qualified college leavers with no ties.
Oh well. I guess we'll see!Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Hey you - keep your chin up. If they don't choose you then its their loss. As a parent I'd opt for you as you have experience and that counts for loads.0

hi immoral angel, this is the first time i have been on this site and i have SO enjoyed reading your debt free diary!! you really should think about publishing it! it took me just over an hour to read all the threads and it was the best read i have had for a long time, lol x
you have done really well with all your debts and although i have no debts myself you have inspired me to begin saving really hard ( which i have not been doing lately ) for a house, as i am renting at the moment.
thanks immoral angel and keep up the good work!!!! xxxxxxx0 -

thanks poppy! I can't believe the size it's getting to now! lol. What I like about it most is that is chronicles our efforts from start to finish so if I'm feeling down I can look back and see just how far we've actually come.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Good luck with the job.... I'd def opt for a parent rather than someone without experience with children... that counts for a lot! x"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke

Afternoon all.. wait is it afternoon or is it still morning... ah clock says 12 so by the time I finish writing it'll be afternoon.
I'm nervous. I haven't look at the internet banking for 2 days because no bills go out on a saturday or sunday so I don't know how much we've got to get us through to friday which should be my payday. Well my boss told me it was going back to the 10th.. but the 10th is a saturday which would usually mean that it goes in the working day before ie Friday.. but what if she hasn't got enough money to pay us? She was waiting for some things to clear so she had the money to pay us on the 10th, but if they were supposed to be clearing on the 10th then surely they wouldn't clear until monday?????? OH god if I don't get paid we're going to be so screwed. Have £70 worth of bills due to go out on that monday and if we don't get paid then we'll be in a right bloody mess.
Oh god I've got to find out how much we've got to live on... BRB....
EEEK.
We have £77.90 left to get us through to payday after bills... not a problem if I get paid ok... but if I don't get paid at the latest monday we've only got £7 to last us the week. Oh god.
I guess the only thing we can do is see if I get paid on friday, and if not make a mad dash into town saturday morning and put some of the debt money into our normal bank account just in case.
What a nightmare... *sigh*Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Well today SHOULD have been my payday . Sitting her hoping and praying my money goes in friday as expected. If it doesn't I'm going to be having serious words with my boss as this isn't on. We rely on that moneyto pay bills and feed us and it's not our fault she's dug herself a massive financial pit. *stress!*
On a brighter note K slept through my turn to get up and feed her again! Poor Ste but hurray for me! lol! Was still up at 7.30 but got a bit of extra sleep so don't feel as desperately tired as I normally do. lol.
Oh and we've had a letter to say that from April our rent is going up to £296.46 a month. Still not going to complain as that's so cheap compared to the other 2 bed terraces in our village if you went private!
Still no news of the job. Will update if they get in touch or anything but I'm not hopeful.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Hi Immoral_angeluk, i don't usually post on this board, i'm mainly on the Old Style board but i got reading your debt diary thread as it was at the top of the page the other day and i'm hooked
You are a brilliant inspiration to us all and i really admire how you manage to stay so postive and upbeat about all the things life throw at you. Your 2 little girls are lovely too, i love the piccy in your avatar
Good luck in paying off your debts, i'll be following your progress and crossing my fingers for you
Take care
