Have entered that Debt dieter competition. I wasn't going to enter this as compared to some our level of debt and how much we've paid off is tiny. But I was so touched when I saw that people were 'voting' for me on the original thread that it made me realise just how much we have achieved and even though we've still got a way to go, I wanted to share my story and enter because I would be letting all of those people who've supported me through thick and thick down if I didn't. I'm so happy that I've managed to inspire so many people! I've only been a member 4 months and I'm so proud of us for managing so much difficult circumstances trying to hold us back! ! lol

Things are seriously tight at the minute. Everything would be fine if my wages were going to be paid on time but nooooo my boss has to make our lives difficult by moving our payday. *sigh*
Oh well, we'll manage somehow, we always do! We've only got about £30 to get us through to the 10th which should be interesting, but at least we've got food, nappies and formula in and a bit of petrol in the car so Steve will just have to be really careful with what he spends at work. Stress!

Still haven't heard from those people about the job. My friend said she was going to call me today about an interview and she hasn't... maybe they've changed their minds?? The tension is killing me..

The girls are fine, K is currently fast asleep on my lap which is straining my back trying to reach the keyboard to type. Ashli's been a mardy bum today as she's been overtired because we went to toddler group. But I wouldn't change them for the world, they're beautiful and I love them so much. They make all the hardship and stress worthwhile.
I suppose I should mention Steve as well but he stresses me out more than anyone. LOL.*I love him to bits though. Even if he does spend all my hard-budgeted money :rotfl:*

Oh IA sorry about your news about the job. However I have phoned Tac Credit 3 times over the last month and each time they have told me something different. I only wanted to increase my hours by 10 hours per months and am completely confused about whether or not I'll be better off.

Have decided to go ahead with it as it will mean takiong on another role in work which will look good on my CV should I decide to change jobs. Will just have to wait and see if I'm better or worse off with the TC's.

It's so frustrating, nobody seems to know what their doing there.

Good luck anyway, I'm sure youll do fine.

OMG what a morning. I was feeding Kaitlyn in bed as Ste has just left for work when I heard Ashli calling from her cot in her room 'Oh no bummy (her word for mummy lol), Oh no daddy!'. I thought nothing of it as she normally chucks everything out of her cot anyway.
Went in to get her dressed and sorted after feeding Kaitlyn and when she stoof up in her cot it was fairly obviously that she was starkers from the waist down! She then walked across the cot and trampled her nappy which was full of poo all over her cot sheet and quilt! It was EVERYWHERE in between her toes and all sorts!!! YUK!!!!!!
Needless to say an impromptue bubbles (bath) was had at 8am but urrrrrrghhhh it was disgusting.. lol.

Called ste and told him and he said that apparently last night when she was about to have her bubbles she was watching with great interest how Ste took her nappy off so I'm praying that this isn't the start of things to come! lol!

    Kids! Who'd have them! lol!

Just wanted to say so glad you called TC back and got another answer as it clearly could not be right. Good luck with the interview I hope you get the job. Try not to stress to much about the debts it is only money and you and your families happiness is more important.

Still haven't heard from the people about the job. Either way I've worked out that with the extra money once we've paid dotty p's off we will be able to pay the advance nursery fees. Here's how it stands at the moment.

In debt account at the mo... £280.10
4 more tax credits this month - £329.72
    child benefit on 27th - £116.60

= £726.32 + any extra we can save out of weekly budgets.

    minus dotty P's which will be about £465 I reckon = £261.32

    In april we have

    4 x tc (reduced after 5th April) - £279.29
Child benefit (increases after april 5th)- £120.80

= £661.41 by 7th May (When I'm due back off maternity leave.)

Nursery fees are £784 meaning we just need to add £124 out of our weekly budgets and it'll be covered. Should be doable as we've got 2 months to be able to raise it. But Ashli's birthday is on the 17th March and we want to take her to a local safari park plus have a little party for her. We've already got her present so we should be able to keep it cheap as possible.. fingers crossed!
