Hi IA
I was just looking at your sig, and it looks like you could pay off Ste Citi completely if you wanted to. What are you going to do? Are you going to build it up so you have a few quid emergency savings before you pay it off, or is that one not the one you're aiming at right now?
Dear heaven, what am I like? A true debt nerd. I really must get a number.........
What we're doing at the mo is saving it until Ste's gets paid so we know whether we're in the clear or not with regards to his wages. Apparently he should get the full month's wages and not just 20 days but we don't want to count our chickens before they've laid eggs... wait that's not the right saying is it? Eggs before they're chickens? Ah f**k it....
Either way once we know that we won't have to use it to make up for a shortage in his wages and then we're looking at getting a new sofa and paying the rest off citi.. we should have a good £350 by then not including what we get off the recent lot of ebay stuff which finishes on sunday so fingers crossed we can get a new sofa (which we desperately need and feel we've earnt!) AND pay off citi.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Hi I-A,
Would paying of citi be poignant:j? Or would hearing that you've been approved by OFSTED and can start your childminding be more poignant:j :j ?
(I think I've gone googley-eyed looking at the computer screen for so long, but as I did most of it at work, I'll just ask them to pay for my next eye test:D)

Evening all... just did the weekly food shop... spent £50.21 in tesco BUT that included 4 packs of ebay envelopes at 82p each and a new kettle and toaster as ours were on the way out which came to £8 something... also because I spent over £50 I got a voucher for 5p off a litre for petrol so I put in £20 instead of £10 while i had the voucher... only saved me £1.50.... bum. Ah well that petrol will last us a good couple of weeks now. I've given Ste £20 which has got to last him til next weds, and I've got just £10.74 which is my budget and also has to pay for any extra food we need. I know I overspent but it shouldn't be a problem as if it gets tight we'll just replace the money we spent on the ebay stuff and kettle and toaster from savings.
Ebay update... 11 items are selling now coming to a total of £12.77They don't even end til sunday so fingers crossed we'll do well.

B****r, wish I'd have thought of it before! I had a till spit from Tesco for £4 off £40 or more that u could have had but it's only valid until the 8th
If I get any more, do u want them? I only spent about £3 and it came out - also got 2 x £1 off Pampers if u want them (I'm a real nappies girl, but registered anyway)
