    Happy Birthday!!

Dont get down about not being able to do anything. Just think what next year will be like when you're debt free. I hope you have a lovely day.

It's annoying though because whenever Ste has a birthday I always try to do something special for him or at least have a party but I don't get the same back. I know I should be grateful but I can't help just feeling miserable. I look forward to my birthday and then it ends up being nothing.... I was expecting to feel like this at 42 not 22!

:rotfl: :rotfl: Well I will be 42 on Friday and it doesn't get any better. I know there are exceptions to the rule but it is a man thing.

However, this is my second marriage, and as my first husband was a complete controlling !!!! (and used to buy me completely horrible presents) - to have someone who I know genuinely loves me, but can't get his act together enough to even think about birthdays is enough for me. I would rather he was nice to me everyday (and that doesn't always happen) than show he cares once a year.

Don't be down love. Look at your two little girls and see how far you have come. I know its hard but you are so bloody good at what you are doing. Maybe your debt busting has slowed down somewhat, but look towards the future. I am 42 and in debt - when you are 42 you should be rich!!!!!!:o :o

That's a really nice post sammy....I was really angry with hubby last night, but in the cold light of day I feel a bit guilty, because he loves me to bits and would do anything for me (well, anything that doesn't involve him missing out on his beauty sleep anyway lol). He buys rubbish presents too....although I'm slowly getting him trained to buy me something appropriate (it's taken 10 years for me to persuade him I don't like or need football shirts...).

I hope that if nothing else, Ste makes you feel loved and wanted today IA. And if not, the peach schnapps is on me tonight! :)

 :bdaycake: Happy Birthday Sarah :bdaycake:

Also heres a big hug, :grouphug:.

Hope your feeling a little less down and i can totally relate to your birthday too, it was mine on the 24th May i got a £2.99 bunch of flowers no night out no beer or wine. Now i am 28 though i see them as another day.

Just a quick one to maybe up finances, everyone said to me why not thorugh sick for a month or 2 instead of going back thats we i did. That has been said to me by lots of people. I am not going to as the firm i work for are fantastic with me. But your not planning on goign back are you so could it do any harm or have you already told them your not going back.

You know it doesn't make much sense
There ought to be a law against
    Anyone who takes offense
At a day in your celebration
‘Cause we all know in our minds
That there ought to be a time
    That we can set aside
To show just how much we love you
And I'm sure you would agree
    It couldn't fit more perfectly
Than to have a world party on the day you came to be

    Happy birthday to you
    Happy birthday to you

Why has there never been a holiday
    Where peace is celebrated
    all throughout the world

    The time is overdue
For people like me and you
Who know the way to truth
Is love and unity to all God's children
It should never be a great event
And the whole day should be spent
    In full remembrance
Of those who lived and died for the oneness of all people
    So let us all begin
We know that love can win
Let it out don't hold it in
Sing it loud as you can

    Happy birthday to you

LOL, I think I wrote it cos I was feeling a bit guilty myself. I veer wildly through every day between loving him to death and wanting to kill him! I sometimes think life would be soooo much easier without him, but then I couldn't live without him. Bummer eh, can 't live with em can't live without em.

AND WHY DO MEN NEED SO MUCH SLEEP!!!!!!!!!:rotfl:
