HAPPPY BIRTHDAY!! Any chance you could accidentally on purpose leave this page open and tell Ste to have a read at what has been going on in your diary, perhaps then he will get the hint?!?
Although as others have said as long as you share your birthday with those you love and everyone is healthy then that is the main thing.
If I was you I would celebrate my birthday myself, look at all you have achieved by the age of 22, what I probably will never achieve in a life time.
He actually read it this morning and he wasn't impressed that I'd moaned about him on here. *sigh*
Oh well... happy birthday to me...
I'm currently sat in the house on my own because my mate has taken the girls out for the day.... it's looking less and less likely that anyone's going to jump out and shout suprise at me...Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Oh and thank you everyone for the kind messages!
I got a card of Ste and the girls this morning and I got to open them at 5am.. :rotfl: oh the joys of having kids!
Got one card in the post which wasn't even a birthday card... just one of those generic ones with flowers on...
I wish I hadn't had the phone then maybe I would've at least got a present!Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Hi Hun, sorry your birthday has not started the way you wanted.
I am also sorry that ste is not pleased about the comments on here regarding him, but the thing is that you didn't say anything bad about him, if he is feeling bad then thats because HE is feeling guilty.
We support Ste as much as we support you, look how many of us sent him congratulations when he passed his driving test. :T
The fact that we are women and therefore make more of a deal about birthdays and xmas is just a fact, men just don't understand the importance we place on them. Maybe it's cos they have never had to give birth. (please let Ste read this)
I had almost nothing for my birthday too this year because of our wanting the debts gone asap, but then hubby had the same deal too :j
I am very lucky with regard my man as he always tries to get me the best thing for my birthday he can think of, usually DVD's as we are both film buffs0 -

long time reader 1st time poster just wanted to wish you many happy returns. my girlfriend and i read your diary every day and as everyone else has said what you have achieved in a few months has been inspirational and goes to show what a determined organised person and what can be done if you set your heart on it.
and for what its worth i agree with others who say you should take a little break from paying as much of your debt as possible each month...at least until steve has started his new job and you get into a new routine.
