It's amazing how once you work it all out it makes you feel much better. Good luck with your budget in February. Something tells me you're going to have a busy month!

  • 5 Days overdue.... 5 days left til I'm induced.

As you guys can probably tell yes I'm still here and still 'reasonably' sane. No signs or symptoms to report and I think she's staying in in protest now. God knows what she's protesting against though! She's probably heard me singing to Ashli and thought 'stuff that!' lol.

Slowly going insane but other than that nothing to report! Argh!

Well, as there is no sign of a baby arriving, I'd better go and update the sweepstake.

  • Ooooh what an exciting day. Had a bit of bleeding last night and this morning plus K wasn't moving about much so ended up going to hospital for a check up and have not long got back!
It's been decided that the bleeding I've had last night/today was my official show rather than 3 days ago. Was on the tracing machine monitoring me and Kaitlyn for about an hour as her heartbeat kept dipping but she was moving happily as soon as it was on.
Everything was fine and apparently the trace showed some 'irritability' and activity in my uterus which apparently means that my body could be getting ready to go into labour. So fingers crossed something could start soon!

Other than that have been sent home to 'await event's' as it says in my notes. lol. Hopefully we won't have to wait too long but otherwise will be induced on Thursday if nothing happens in the meantime.

At least we got a 'dry run' for SIL and MIL getting here to take me to hospital! lol!

Have bought myself a massive cheesecake as a treat tonight and if anyone thinks I'm sharing they can bog off! lol!

    Hi IA
Glad everything is okay, was beginning to hope things were happening as hadn't heard from you for a while.
Never mind we will just have to wait :D

The main thing is that you and baby are both okay.

    Take care

PS Having all that cheesecake yourself can't be good, think you will have to share it ;);)

  • Hi Immoral_angel
Just to say I have been following your thread with interest and am really impressed by what a good hold you have on your family's finances even with so much going on for you at the moment!
I really hope things start moving for you soon as I know how you must be eager to see your new one. I have 2 little girls myself and my worries centred round how no.1 would cope with the upheaval and competition of her new sister - in the event she was thrilled, a bit spoiled (temporarily) but completely fine about it all, (and my 2nd birth was so much more enjoyable than the 1st!)

Anyhow hope all goes really well for you, thinking of you,

  • Well here I am. Officially a whole week overdue tomorrow and due to be induced on Thursday. Last night I had contractions coming every 10 minutes and woke to them every 5 mins at 5am.. but lo and behold at 7am they stopped completely and I've had nothing since .
I've pulled out all the stops today doing tonnes of house work and even power walking down the indian to have a lamb Bhurma (I know not spicy at all but I can normally only stomach a chicken korma so I did well lol.) in the vain hope that it kick starts things again as I really really don't want to have to be induced on thursday. Oh well. At least we're on the home straight now and the end is in sight.

Oh and we got another £2 for the tv fund so have got £30 now. :)
