  • From now on.. instead of being x days over due... I'm counting it as MAXIMUM DAYS LEFT as my induction is booked for Thursday. So there is a maximum 6 days left.. anything less than that is a bonus!!

Come on Kaitlyn... the countdown has started...

You don't want it to happen now! It's the middle of the night...

a show is great means kaitlyn is well on her way:j

oh hang on I voted for her to arrive on my birthday on the 30th, I'm supposed to be telling you she's not cooked yet lol.
  • My bday is the 30th as well, so I also vote for that date. :) A little aquarian.... ahh..
  • Any news? Actually hoping you dont come on today, if you dont then we will know things are happening!
  • *Sigh*.. back to normal. Nothing to report. Beginning to wonder if there is actually a baby in there or not! lol!

On the bright side there's less than 6 days until I'm induced... so anything less than that is a bonus. :)

Today is my original due date based on the very very first dating scan I had at 7 weeks (They moved it to the 22nd at my proper 12 week scan.). Babies eh?

    January budget
    Nothing left!
  • Don't panic! No exciting baby news to report.. just thought as this is my debt diary I should update on the debt side of things rather than the overdue-feb-up-and-stressed side! lol

Right.. since my head's a bit clearer today after yesterdays stresses I had another look at the money side of things for february and have done a february debt challenge (renamed it from money challenge as it wasn't really a money challenge as such..). Thank god Feb's a short month but luckily we'll be fine as long as we carry on as we have been. Here's the jist of it.
    ~ February Debt Challenge ~
    Pay off Citi!

    Target £474.80

Money in (not inc tc or cb)~
    Ste Wages - £934.31
    Sar Mat Pay - £432.26
    Total - £1366.57

    Money out ~
    Bills - £866.04
(Inc council tax even though it doesn't go out this month, but we're going to use it for my car tax and save the rest so essentially the £99 is still going out for it.)

    Driving Lessons - £76
    Food Budget - £170
    (Extra £20 for nappies/formula etc.)
    Petrol Budget - £30
    Total - £1142.04

    + / - = £224.53

Weekly Budget - £56.13 (roughly £8 per day)

    ~ Saving Targets ~
    (£474.80 aim)
    • Save all tax credits (£78ish according to tc people once K's born.) = £312ish
    • Save all Child benefit (once K's born) = £116
    • Save £99 (council tax) towards Car tax (£65) and save rest = £34
    • Savethe rest needed out of weekly budgets - £16ish needed

Looks do-able to me. Like I said, as long as we carry on as we have been we should do it easily. Especially as we're nearly in feb now and Steve's got 2 (possibly 3) weeks off as soon as K's born so if he has 3 weeks off that'll only be 1 week in feb he's actually at work so we'll save loads on his lunches etc. :) Called the tax credits people earlier and they said that all I have to do is call them up when K's here and they'll automatically update it and we should get £78 a week from then on so we should see that fairly quickly. Then just need to send of the child benefit form to tell them K's been born and our next child benefit should be updated (it's due the 27th feb.).

Had a call from my boss this morning about the childcare places for Ashli and Kaitlyn and she's asked me to go in as soon as possible to sort everything out. She's said that ideally she wants me to go back down to 16 hrs a week and have the kidlets doing those hours too. I had already mentioned this possibility to Ste before and it was what we were thinking of already anyway.. so just need to talk to him about it again tonight and then sort it out with my boss. Of course I'll be on less money but the childcare fees will also be less and we'll get 80% towards that from tax credits anyway. Will see what happens anyway. K's not even here yet! lol!

Sorry to ramble on again! Feel much happier money wise today since I've sat down and worked it all out. I'm positive Citi will be paid off (all being well) at the end of feb.

We just need madam to shift her !!!! now!!
