lol it could go something like this

Please note: I wish to be reminded that I must pay my mothercare bill at every available opportunity, even in labour if necessary although I cannot be held responsible for my actions or comments if this reminder is ill time to coincide with a particularly bad contraction......

  • Just read back through this diary and realised that I never actually updated on what happened about the letter from Global Debt recovery for Steve about that £515 lloyds debt!
Well to cut a long story short Steve sent them the standard 'statutute barred' letter at the beginning of December because he realised it was from a debt from when he was about 18. Haven't heard a thing from them since so they must have realised that we're not stupid and not going to pay for a debt they can't legally claim. Gits.

  • Well.. it's Sunday the 14th January. 8 days til K day... or if you want to put it another way.... a week tomorrow and realistically I could drop at any time! EEEK! Not that she's showing any signs of it. Had an awful night last night SPD-wise and didn't sleep much at all. Had to keep turning over because of the pain and that was a challenge enough in itself! At one point I got stuck on my side! Nightmare! SERIOUSLY had enough now. It wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't in so much pain at night. Just hacked off and want her here now and not inside me causing me grief! lol!
No other signs to report. Suprise suprise.

IA you really have my sympathy at the moment, I had horrendous SPD with DD and DS2 and the nightimes were the worst for me too. The pain was unbearable at times. I remember the pain being so bad with DD that I couldn't walk DS1 to school and had to rely on friends taking him or getting a taxi for him. I never knew what it was at the time and neither did my midwife, no-one took me seriously and I just had to suffer in silence. That was only 9 years ago. I also found that internal examinations made the pain increase for days after and sitting on those soft gym balls had a similar effect. When I had the same with DS2, I found out that swimming (not breast stroke) actually gave me a couple of days relief! I would recommend it if you can go.

I think the thing that annoys me the most is that no one really understands what it feels like so I just kind of get false sympathy from people who haven't actually been through it. The only way I can describe it to people is that is kind of feels like when your hip needs to pop but you have to walk on it and it's right through your pelvis but even then I just get 'doesn't sound nice' comments. Too right it isn't nice!
Oh well... *breathe* not long to go before it hopefully vanishes. Going to try wearing my support belt tonight to see if that helps with the pain as at the moment I find it really uncomfortable to wear because of the size of my bump but at this point I'll try anything I'm that desperate! lol!

  • Hi all! EEEEEK one week today til Kaitlyn's due! Nothing to report bumpwise (suprise suprise) except that I'm thinking of issuing her with a notice of eviction! lol!

Have moved over the £32.24 to cover mothercare to the debt savings, which means that all we have to do is transfer the tax credits and child benefit and we'll have the full amount, saving the stress! lol! Made more sense to do it that way so that we know that mothercare will definately be paid off and we can spend what's in the bank without risking it. Steve suggested it and I don't know why I didn't think of it! lol! It has obviously effected our weekly budget but as we're not under pressure to save as much as possible it's not a problem and we have £58 a week til the 30th not counting today as Ste's already taken his money out of the bank for today and I was going on the most recent figures. Considering we only spent £33 last week we may even be able to save some towards my citi card next month! But, like I said at least we're not under massive pressure to save now and what's in the bank is ours (except bills etc.).

Feeling good today. Ste filled out his application form for the promotion last night and is giving it to his boss today so hopefully he'll get an interview soon!
