hiya glad to hear the buggy is giving you some much needed freedom.
Just a thought statutory paid maternity leave has been extened to 9 months today-I know you are on leave now so would this apply to you? It would be great to get yours extened by 3 months.
If only! As far as I know it only applies to anyone who starts their leave after today. Oh well!Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Unfortunately the extended maternity leave only applies if your EDD is 1st April or after. It's a bit unfair really (although it benefits me), but it must be annoying for people who have had babies before this date.
Immoral, stop feeling guilty about spending £4 on clothes - you needed them, and they were a bargain. So just enjoy them!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
IA if you're still feeling bad about the £5 (I agree with Spendless about the £2 not counting), pretend that you paid £5 for a double buggy which would have been a bargain! x0

Morning all. Typically K woke up at 6am for a bottle which is annoying as it was my turn and the night before last she slept through and it was Ste's turn!! Argh! OH well. Thank god I went to bed early is all I can say.
Ste isn't great though.. his xbox 360 gave him the '3 red lights of doom' last night and we can't afford to get it fixed or replaced. He's going to be completely lost without his games! He was inpieces last night when it happened as it's out of warranty. He's going to be in a foul mood til we get it fixed or replaced! Don't know how we're going to though! They're not exactly cheap!

Hi
Despite the 360 being outside the shop's warranty period, you could try sending it back to Microsoft, it should still be under the manufacturer's warranty. Not sure exactly how to go about doing that though.
Failing that, a friend of mine took his back to Game, and as it was so busy in the shop they didn't even check his receipt, they just gave him a new 360.
Good luck - I can't imagine the carnage in our house if the red lights of doom ever appear...*** PROPHECY_GRRL****** DEBT FREE AS OF 17/10/11 - I DID IT!!! ***0 -

Thanks.. Ste's going to ring microsoft today apparently... He got his from HMV where he works so think he's going to mention it to his boss today and see if he'll take pity and swap it...
Men and their consoles eh? I was just getting into bed when it happened he shouted up the stairs and I honestly thought there was something wrong with K the way he shouted! I legged it downstairs half naked to find him in pieces and his xbox knackered.... I was just relieved it was his 360 but don't tell him that!! The lump of plastic and microchips under the tv is like a 3rd child to him!Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

I know that there are no guarantees, but if you look on the competitions board, there are comps on their for xboxes and other stuff too. You might win.
also I use loquax competition site (don't think I am allowed to put the www. for this in here, but google for it). They have competitions on there for xboxes and ps3's. If Steve could enter those it might take his mind off his beloved xbox.....
But dropping Microsoft an email to see if they will repair it for free is a good idea too.

Hi
How old is the xbox? It does not matter if it is outside the warranty period, because all electrical goods have to last a reasonable period. A reasonable period is anywhere around 4 to 5 years, we received a brand new printer from Brother because ours packed in after 2 years and I argued that it is not a reasonable period for an item to last.SSB0 -
