:eek: Am up before Hypno :eek:. Well, slight scattering of snow overnight but enough to persuade OH not to play golf. Yippee, I don't need to get up at 6.30 (always get up with him on Sat morning). So, how did I end up wide awake & getting up at 6.15 instead?

Ah, I was up. gally, one coffee down already - was just catching up on the cricket....

It is bloomin cold today - I have to wait a couple of hours before I know whether my class is going ahead, so can't really plan my day properly. The kids will be skiing though, always fab when there is real snow.

Whatever happens, the children will be with their Dad tonight, so I get a proper evening off, and I will be enjoying that - sofa, blanket, Saturday night telly, heating on full, and a glass or two to celebrate reaching the end of the week. Bring it on.

More coffee next though - need to wake up, just in case I am required to be all serious and professional for a few hours adult ed teaching.....!

Hope the teaching is fine. Well done on the productive day. We have been hit for 6 here. We had an outstanding claim against us ref insurance. Had heard nothing for 18 months or more, and then today found out it had gone to court!!!!! More details on my thread, but it is going to be expensive if we can't defend it....

I had assumed all that had been resolved, chev. hope it is sorted pretty quickly. I don't envy you - having had a few battles in the past, I am glad that (apart from my divorce) I seem to be through with that sort of grief for the moment.

I have teaching booked in for the next 3 Saturdays, and again after Christmas, through to Feb half term, so really to miss today would be no hardship for me. We have a reasonable amount of snow here, but the school I am due at today is the other side of the city so no way of guessing what decision they will take yet. I am waiting patiently!

I never know about that, but something very childish in me goes ":j:jIT'S SNOWING" before the adult goes ":( I've got to go out in that"

so in some ways its better if the teaching is cancelled and you can get on with the house and then enjoy the "me time" later on.
