Payday :j So another month survived, and the chance to get through another few weeks :D when I get to work I will do my budgets for the month with my envelopes to the ready - it has done me no harm so far, so I will be sticking with this system for the time being!

Talking of budgets, it is budget day to day of course - I am sure there will be no surprises there. I wonder if Mr Osborne has got his envelopes sorted.....

Have a good day, and enjoy the spring sunshine

Hi cocalls! My weight has remained stable for months now, simply by getting the balance right between food and exercise so I haven't followed the new WW programme at all. I think Taxi is on it though - and is doing well so ask her and I am sure she will help!

18lbs over 19weeks is fantastic, and a very healthy way of doing it - don't underestimate what an achievement that is!

Right, a dash for the bus beckons......

So......budgets done, envelopes written and waiting for me to go to the cash machine and get the money out to fill them, and quietly confident about the month ahead.

I have a couple of biggish expenses to cover but provided that nothing hugely unexpected comes along, I should be ok. I have transferred the council tax money to savings as this is my second "free" month, which has boosted that total a little too.

All is well - I just need to stay focused :D

That's a LOT of big envelopes

Hope it's relatively painless for all while managing to balance the books and start paying back some debt. A bit like us down-branding & adding lentils to mince & hoping no-one notices ;).

OH transfered his two 'free' months to the electricity bill payment!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:yes - the bill at the end of winter was that high as our heating is electric - YIKES

Still £4 in the account as yesterday's train ride home was free - no one at either end to collect payment! :D one of the perks of living in the sticks lol!

    Have a lovely day!

I've always had to use my "free" months for other bills too in the past - this is the first year I think that the money has been moved to savings. I am very excited :rotfl:

As for free travel - :j:j:j

Have a lovely day, yourself x

  • Hi Hypno,

Well done on getting to the end of the month in credit:T. That is certainly an achievement :T,

I hope you don't mind me asking but I seem to recall that you have in the past practised hypnotherapy on kids ( correct me if I am wrong!). The reason I ask is that my 10yr old son has an extreme phobia of being sick and therefore also germs. This is completely taking over his life and I am at a loss for what to do . He sees a psychologist (sp?) who has been practising CBT with him but without much success. I just wondered whether you have any CDS/downloads which I could buy from you which might help or perhaps you can point me in the right direction.

Sorry to hijack your thread but I am desperate for help.

    Lots of love

    Hi Hypno et al

I know this is a really long shot but do you happen to know any massage therapists in the Colchester area who might be free tomorrow for a charity event?

My daughter has organised a Ladies Pamper Event but the lady who was going to do the massages has had to drop out due to a family bereavement. We have phoned everyone we can think of including the local college but no one is available at such short notice.

The idea was for the therapist to offer taster sessions of 15 mins at £5 a go and then donate 20% of their takings at the end.

We do have other therapists but I feel it is a shame not having a massage therapist at a pamper event - it is the one thing you would expect to be there really.

Any ideas would be gratefully received!

Would have suggested my sister, but I'm almost certain she participated in this event, she was doing a pamper evening and is a shiatsu therapist... small world!
