Last day today before payday - there is £3.60 in the current account, and all direct debits paid, with some cash remaining in my purse, so I consider that a great success. In addition, I have some money that has been put away as "proper" savings, so I am very pleased.

Hypno - I still learn so much from you! - those last five words have turned the whole day around - in a similar vein - 2 days to payday - £4 in the account - a chunk paid off the debt this month and a teeny bit added to the emerg fund - but was feeling down about it - not any more! :D Thanks for the ray of sunshine!

You are ending the month in a far better position than you started it rt! Certainly nothing to feel down about. Hurrah for all things debtbusting and the like :T:T:T

A very MSE day for me so far - had a seminar at midday, where they provided lunch, and a colleague has bought big fat hot chocolates with whipped cream and marshmallows this afternoon :D

    MSE and yummy

    But of course!

I am going to attempt a short run after work, so that will work off approx one and a half marshmallows - it'll be fine!!

Well, I managed to run for 40 mins.....was a lovely evening, and I didn't want to push it any more. I've not finished off coughing and spluttering so am hoping that I have got away with it, and that the last few days of running-rest have done what they need to do.

Showered, changed and just having a quick coffee before heading out to meet a friend at the cinema to see Chalet Girls.....:D

Yes the film was definitely watchable - bizarrely about a girl called Kimberley, who goes out to do a season in the Alps and ends up copping off with a good looking rich bloke......

    .......if only :rotfl:

Going to see The Eagle tomorrow night.........I am not sure if there can be two films so different!!! Channing Tatum is in it though, so the theme of good looking blokes continues....
