Just had some square sausage and I feel a bit better now.

Yum yum, and always good for a hangover :D Just a shame we don't get it this far south :( I do stock up when I am north of the border though :)
Got a whole chicken, green beans, tatties (that's potatoes to you folk in The South) and parsnips for £5, so very pleased :D

Now, what the hellfire does one do with parsnips? I don't think I've ever knowingly eaten them :o

Parsnips are great roasted FF, they turn all sweet carmelly and scumpshess (If that is even a word :rotfl:)

Nothing veggie left at our M&S branch in the Roast for £5:they had the 2 for £5 meals which I didn't really fancy. (However, did get one new bra -which fits!-and ordered 3 more online for instore collection.)

As far as food was concerned, ended up in Sainsbury's with their 2 12 inch pizza and 2 sides for £5 and 3 Quorn products for £5 offers. That, and the freezer contents, should go a long way:D

I love roasted parsnips with honey drizzled over them while they are cooking.

Today we had roast lamb, dauphinoise potatoes and veg.....yummy yummy yummy! Plenty of lamb left over for another meal too. Was nice to bring my Nana over, and I really should make the effort to do it more often. She only lives an hour away, but to go and get her, bring her here for dinner, and take her home again means 4 hours in the car, which feels like an awful lot more than "only an hour away"!!

I've got my ironing to do this evening, and other than that, very little planned. Have a good one, whatever you are roasting :D
