I'm here
Was indeed a late night - ended up at Vodka RevolutionOh I was so ill _pale_, But, no chance to have a hangover, as I had some adult ed work I needed to do at 10am......so the alarm went off as usual, and I headed out.
Then this afternoon I had my hair coloured, and legs waxed, so a bit of a "me" afternoon. Just home, via M&S where I stocked up on their various "for £5" offers which are just bargainous, I have to say, and I will be having a lazy evening, as I prepare for a long run in the morning.
So, thanks for missing me! I hope you have all had a good day xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Do you (or anyone else!) know how long the various £5 offers are on for? I've been doing a mountain of housework today, having got rid of Mr Fresian for the afternoon, so haven't had time to do a proper shop this weekend. If there's bargains to be had in M&S I'll go there then Morrisons instead of hitting Aldi tomorrow.0

I would guess that they will be on again tomorrow.
I got 2 of the "casserole for £5" - one lamb and one chicken. I also got a "roast for £5" which was a joint, a bag of root veg (parsnips or carrots), a bag of green veg (brocolli, sprouts or french beans) and a bag of spuds (either new or roasting)....very very good value.
I also hit the perfect time in the shop and managed to pick up some yellow stickered stuff for the freezer - a very successful trip, I have to say!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They certainly make shopping at M&S a whole lot more cost effective than usual, and it always makes you feel a little more rich if you are bringing something out of the fridge/freezer with the M&S logo on rather than Morrisons or Tesco!
So....plan for today is to have coffee, porridge, and get out there for a long run.....then once I have showered and had another coffee I am going to collect my Nana and bring her here - she has not seen my new house yet - and I will cook dinner for us all before taking her back again. This evening I will do the ironing and have a fairly early night.
MSE wise, I have spent a fair bit this weekend so far, but almost all budgeted, so the only spend today will be petrol. Payday is still 10 days away, so I need to be careful, but on the basis our food stores are fairly high, I think we just need bread, milk and fruit between now and then.
Have a good day, whatever you have planned xxSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Liking the offers Hypno, may pop in there today as I have some vouchers. I am feeling a bit delicate. As I couldn't go to Edinburgh I just got trolleyed here instead. What a grand idea!!!!'The road to a friends house is never long'0

I must have byesterday I cleared the pile of clean washing into its rightful places, spruced up the kitchen and put new (unironed) sheets on the bed.
I was exhausted after all that so had an early night and woke up rested.

Did you notice if there was a vegetarian alternative for the roast as it doesn't say on their website? Cheers!‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.
