I will be throwing more at the mortgage to get it down a bit more. I would really like it to be gone by the time I am 50......

    Hmmmmm - now there's a challenge.....
That would be a good goal for me too - Mortgage Free in Ten - that would be nice!

Maty - yes, early starts are the norm!!! I will give you a shout when we are next heading that way.

Mac - I reckon it is a doable challenge, without being overly tight or stressful.

To get my mortgage gone by 50, I need to pay £16700 a year.....I will have a play with the mortgage calculator when I am at work later and will work out what I need to overpay to achieve this......will get back to you :D

Morning Taxi - yes, all is well :D

Today I have a long day as I am off to do download work this evening, but I can offset that by having lunch with a friend so the day is not all work work work.

    Happy Monday everyone x

Morning Hypno, I've been lurking a bit really but have kept up with your progress :T.

I knew another challenge would have to appear sometime, although I think mortgage free in 10 years would scare most of the MFW's so best to stay on here where we know it is normal :D.

Oh my word! £16,700 a year - of course, this is indeed NFH :) but ... wow! Just, wow! Oh, also Hurray! :):):)
2023: the year I get to buy a car
  • NFH made me laugh and made me think of Normal For Norfolk

This challenge will be a walk in the park for you Hypno I think which will be nice as mortgage pay off/ nice life balance should be easier to manage.
