Hi everyone,
I too am someone who wakes up really early and doesn't sleep as well as I could, so when I was made redundant last year I decided to turn it into a positive. I now do a cleaning job early mornings so that I have a reason to get up and not just sit watching breakfast TV. My other job is in the afternoons and so I have plenty of time in between for catching up on stuff. It seems to work.
Have a good day everyone....

My word, thats an early start for you both ... as I get better, I'm managing to stay asleep, and then in bed, just a little bit longer, getting a *little* bit more sleep and relaxation - it makes a world of difference.
Can you see the skiing from where you're sitting, Hypno? How's it going?2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
3.30am alarm calls are really NOT FUN!!!!
If you DS ever becomes a famous skier, I fully expect him to bos down in front of you on national TV and tell the whole world how he never would have got there if it wasn't for the sacrifices you made to get him there, bags under the eyes included! :rotfl:Please call me 'Pickle'

But the benefit of such an early start is that I am home already.....!
I have done a full day already, I reckon, so I am not going to do a great deal more today.....Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Afternoon! Well done on the 10 miler :T I read that last night and it inspired me to get my gear ready. I haven't been yet due to torrential rain and a general "taking it easy" attitude and after eating the odd piece or 3 of chocolate birthday cake
DH keeps reminding me that I've signed to do a half M in 4 weeks, so I need to get on it
:o:o
So spurred on by your good self, I'm off out later this afternoon! (Dreading it)
Hope you're ok and enjoying your new abode xx0 -
hi Mac - enjoy your run! I was very pleased to get so many miles done yesterday.
And the house is just peachy! Thank you.....I feel very very at home hereSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
That's great! Really am pleased for you
As for running, well......I've just has some soup followed by another sliver of DH's b'day cake (sugar is my evil master), so the thoughts of going are filling me with dread. I know once I'm out I'll be ok, but I really need to go first thing before I have time to think about it - and when the rest of the World is in bed so can't see me flobbing about the place!
