Is it the end, or just the beginning.....?

Hi Hypno,
I discovered your diary about a week ago, and just had to go back to your first one (I think) from 2007.
I've reached page 30 today, and am going to gradually work my way through this - but from what I've read so far - wow, what a jouirney you have been on, and how wonderful to read you are now debt free and in your new home.:j:T
You've certainly been an inspiration to many people, and I'm hoping reading this will also help me get my ar*e into gear.
Many congratulations on your wonderful achievement0 -
Gosh emiliah - you will be a long time if you are reading through the whole lot!!!! Might be advisable just to read the first page of each diary if you don't have a year or two available to you!
But thank you for doing so!!! It always amazes me when people go back and start at the beginning! And YES YES YES, I have come a long way - thanks to this fabby site :money:
Souk, I am still at my goal weight - I think life has just allowed me to be where I need to be - no stressing now about what I eat or drink.....I have obviously got the balance right for once in my life! I have been at my weight now for 6 months without doing anything other than trusting myself - and it is fab :T
Girlie catch up was fab - cooked king prawns in ginger, chili and garlic.....served with various green leaves and foccacia. simple, quick, and very very yummy.....:D
Now....must go to bed.....have a 2 hour run to do in the morning

Sounds like you've had a long week but great to end it on a fabby girlie night in ..supper sounded wonderful.0

Yes it was a long week, taxi - not necessarily a bad week, but definitely tiring on a lot of levels.....you know the sort!
But it is another week done and dusted, and I can look forward to the next one! And yes, we had a lovely evening.....just a shame I can't follow it up with a lay in. My bodyclock is as reliable as any super duper alarm clock.....but I do wish it came with at least a "snooze" button!
Still, I have made a coffee and brought it back to bed with the laptop and a couple of glossy magazines and will stay put for an hour or so.....in the absence of sleep, it will have to do!
I hope you are all well and that you have good weekends ahead of you xxSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Booh to body clocks, mine doesn't understand weekends, or late nights either. It doesn't understand hungover, and never got to grips with a baby who finally learned to sleep through!

Ditto to wanting a snooze button for the body clock, thats a brilliant way of putting it! Mind you, last night I was so tired, I actually *slept* for most of the time I was in bed, which is better than usual (nothing else going on, sadly :rotfl:)
Lol at dancing in your PJ's! Busy but fun, in spite of background stuff still going on. Have a good one :j2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

I bet you were just thinking that you had managed to safely sneak that one through without anyone noticing, weren't you!Hope it went OK. Better that taking the three points, I guess.

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

OH - confession time. A few years back I got stopped doing 30mph in a 20mph zone. I was pulled in in a school car park, and duly given the lecture - it was an entirely fair cop, I knew the limit was there, and was doing 30mph regardless. On the flipside it is a road that it is not only difficult to do 20mph along, but potentially also quite risky as there are several tight-ish bends and the likelihood of someone rear-ending you as they come round one of them to find you travelling more slowly than they expect. However, as I say, fair cop. Having had the standard lecture, I was told that I could have a choice between taking the 3 points and the fine, or alternatively drive away with just a warning after "having a chat" with one of the kids from the school. The INFANTS school, that is.:o:o Even two years on I STILL cringe inwardly when I think about the five minutes that followed. :embarasse:embarasse:embarasse
