    KM, I think it is like the weight loss - when things are "right" in life, everything sort of looks after itself and isn't as daunting as we have perceived them to be for so many years.....as a result, my housework is no longer as daunting or yukky as I always believed it to be.

    KC, yes, I have made a mortgage payment already, so the total is going down already.....once I get settled with the finances and have a bit of cash behind me, I will be throwing more at the mortgage to get it down a bit more. I would really like it to be gone by the time I am 50......

    Thank you milann.....I am sure it will be a lot better going forward than it was in the past. A lot of that will be down to me to make the most of it, and to simply deal with stuff that gets thrown at me, rather than allow it to take over.....
