Is it the end, or just the beginning.....?

Oh, I know what you mean - I have vowed to put any teaching money that I get to one side to fund such "lifestyle" costs. Even just a 3 hour workshop gives a reasonable amount of money to do things that otherwise I couldn't do.....so although ultimately I would like to be able to turn down the teaching work and free up more of my weekends, the tradeoff is quite reasonable.
Can you believe, though, that we are having this conversation about "disposable income".......those are words that in the last few years have been a mere dream for us :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Oh, isn't that true! I was so badly derailed by debt these last five years, and now .... your sig says it all! New dawn, new day, new life!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

derailed by debt - that sums it up quite nicely!!
Right, I will remain hungover until 9am only......then will get productive. Or else I will be in danger of NOT being able to move house, which in turn will NOT see me debt free and NOT able to do all these things we are talking about!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Yay - let the good times roll! :T:T:T  (perhaps not the best smiley - I've got a hangover too and a sick child to look after, so you have my sympathies)

The headache is certainly not subsiding - not helped by the fact that DD has her ipod playlist on loudly in the kitchen while she packs up there....and DS has his playlist on loudly upstairs while he does his room.....and of course they are both very different songs playing.
But I can't ask them to turn them off because otherwise their productivity might stop.
So, the hangover remains firmly in control
But at least the packing is being done! Just having a coffee break now and doing brunch of sausage and egg for those that can stomach it.....Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. The different music upstairs/downstairs reminds me of when I bought my 3 nieces walkmans (:rotfl: remember them?) for Christmas in the hope of keeping them quiet on long journeys.
Three children in the back of the car each singing along to different tapes was not good  Should have got them story tapes I think!
Happy packing, hope the headache subsides soon:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0 -
You poor thing! Try and eat some of that brunch - and you *are* drinking water as well as coffee, aren't you?2023: the year I get to buy a car0

brunch - check
coffee - check
water - urm.......more coffee?
And no sympathy required - it is entirely self inflicted, after all!
5 more mins then off to pack again.....will do an hour and then have a break I reckon.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
