While you are too busy to source today, I thoroughly recommend Olbas pastiles for their nose drying/cough stopping qualities.

They taste horrible, but once you get to the 4th box they are strangely comforting :D (I have had a hicky cough for the last oooh 4 weeks and am bored of going to bed daubed in Vic and really am on the 4th box!!)

I am addicted to the olbas oil tissues - not to eat, of course, but they are by far the best for my poor sore nose! I have tried the pastilles in the past, but just can't learn to love em! I have got some fab mentholly things from boots which are pretty good :)

Thankfully I don't have the cough at the moment - just a streaming nose, which is giving me that very festive Rudolph appearance!

If you put the pastile in the inside of your cheek it will dissolve slowly without numbing or turning your tongue green ... worth a go if the snot continues :D

Well, I have made a start - washing machine and dishwasher both on, one box packed, one box started for the charity shop stuff we will doubtless find along the way etc.

So, will report back in at some point - when I need defrosting or a little bit of sanity.....:D

Sorry to hear the cold has landed.

Hope the skip filling goes well.
  • Hope the final de-clutter goes well. And that the mood stays as light as last week.
