SOOoooo Glad to hear life is good! :T:T:T The first wear of a new dress is always special, so I bet you felt great!
As you know, we had to exchange and complete on the same day. We did have to insure the house a few days before that though, due to funds being released from the bank. So I guess there was a small element of risk, but needs must and of course - it was all fine0 -
The head is fine, matymoo! Am a bit tired, but otherwise fine. Will be taking the kids skiing, then heading out for a run in a couple of hours or so.......:D

Good evening. It is great to come on tonight and to see that there has been a general change in mood - and that life is good. Life is good here too but very busy; mainly work.
As to coping with hangovers I am with Hypno; there is nothing better than a brisk run - the worse the weather the better for the hangover (it has to do with getting rid of all feelings of guilt, I think, and seeing oneself and self righteous). Regretfully, I ran without having partaken in Remy Martin (which happens to be a favourite of mine).

Evening all - hope you have had a good day. Being without children tonight I have been able to partake of that thing called a social life, and have had a lot of laughs before catching the last bus home.
So, all remains wellOff now to sleep before attacking the remains of the crap tomorrow to go into the skip.......

Way hay to a social life. I've been to see Deathrap tonight and had a wonderful meal after. So glad I live near enough to central London to do this.
Thanks to Hypno's thread I am pleased to report that I have got down 2 huge boxes of tax papers etc from our long term storage/ inaccessible cupboard and sorted and managed to reduce them hugely. I hope for 2 more tomorrow too. Glad you had a good evening V :T And well done on getting a couple of boxes decluttered - it really does make a difference, doesn't it!
So, I have a LOT to do today - regardless of what date we actually get to move, the fact is that I need to be ready for it at the drop of a hat, so today will be my big chance really to get as much packed up and ready to go as I can, with as much surplus stuff in the skip as I can.
So I will allow myself until 8am having coffee, then will get myself dressed and moving - XOH is due at about 9ish to carry on sorting the garage, and to help dismantle and get rid of some other stuff, and we will just have to see how we go.
My cold is streaming, so plenty of Day Nurse will be taken, along with plenty of coffee to keep me warm and awake!
Have a good day, everyone, whatever you have planned xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
