Back from Aldi, there was an annoucement over the shop intercom at 11am, I have to give people their due everyone stopped for the 2 minutes. There was a wee boy in the shop, kept saying to his Mum, come on Mum its time for playschool.....had to smile.....he did not understand why everyone was stood still in the shop.
My new baby has arrived, its not a full size Kenwood, do not need a massive one now, I really did not feel I could ask my daughter to fork out over £150 for a mixer, the smaller one will do us fine, it has a liquidiser, food processor and juicer attachments with it, you can also get a mincer and centrafugal juicer attachements as well. I have unpacked it and put it away, in doing so I discovered that our little furry friens is still afound, found some chewed paper in a dish......looks like its going to have to be a trap!!
Spend in Aldi just £17.65....should see us through to lamost the end of the month.......when I can draw my £140 for my Christmas shop. need to see the butcher for a piece of beef.

The new baby...... not used it yet, might tomorrow when we have finished the chocolate cake. Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -
Lol, that's not a baby, its a teenager
Wow, looks like loads of fun Csarina, watch that waistline!
I tend to not use my FP, but I wouldn't part with it for the world. As for my new Kenwood......it still in the box, I am deciding whether or not it's too big! I bought the Major, which is 6.5l capacity, but I was thinking I might get back into selling birthday cakes, so will need a biggie, but the other one is just a bit smaller but takes up less room in my already overcrowded kitchen. Very nice, Csarina.;) Ours is much smaller than that; already belonged to Mr LW, he bought it from a work colleague in 1990 (was an unwanted wedding present, can you believe?). We also have a Kenwood hand mixer, which was Mr LW's grandma's, and is well over 50 years old.:D Every time we use that one, he always says "Thank you, Grandma" :rotfl:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
