    I don't believe a word !

Would anyone realistically do that ??!! Either knock on door OR let a stranger in ??

I have knocked on doors plenty of times. Its how you let the person inside know you are outside

You really should have phoned the police. They work hard, they need a laugh sometimes too.

Clearly the OP lives in a very posh area. In less posh areas, blokes just pee up the wall - or a door if desparate.
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

Some surprises here, though perhaps it's just me...
    1. You have a girlfriend - I don't know why, but I'd assumed you were some niave young lass, daft enough to do this, rather than male.

2 You are probably right to assume she'll be cross, though 'mental' is a word I'd be wary of throwing around at the moment. Of all three people in this scenario, she sounds like the only well-adjusted one, and the questions I'm asking myself about the relationship she has with you are not ones I'll bother you with. I'll ask her when she gets in. Don't worry, I'm sure she'll be home soon.

    3. He used HER towel, and you're going to hide that from her?? One the one hand - wise move, if she's like your mum, hide, deny, avoid. Never admit you let a scary man into the house while she left you one your own. However, if my OH did that, and then I found out later, I'd not be very happy at all.

    4. I think we're all a little freaked, to be honest, by the things you've described. Well, freaked, astonished and astounded.

It's amazing the window this forum gives you into other people's lives.:rotfl:
What makes you think the OP is a man? woman have girlfriends too you know!!!

This is so weird! Exactly the same thing happened to me a few years back!

I dealt with things a little differently: there was no way I was having some fella helping himself to a bath in my gaff so I barged my way in, took one look at his todger and asked him to stay. Woof woof!
