ADVICE FOR ALL: next time someone knocks on your door and says "I have a legal right"....tell them to sue you and close the door....
    I'm now a retired teacher... hooray ...:j

Those who can do, those who can't, come to me for lessons:cool:

This reminded me of a story a mate of mine told me.

His wife invited her friend for an evening meal, this friend asked if it was all right to bring her new boyfriend, of course she said yes and she looked forward to meeting him etc.
The evening started fine, they had a few drinks then all got seated round the table chatting, then after a few minutes this girls new boyfriend asked to use the toilet, he was told it was at the top of the stairs and off he went, in a rather hurry too.
Any way he had been up there a long while and the girl was getting a bit embarrassed as they were starting to comment on how long he had been, he eventually came down and carried on with the meal and the evening went well and after coffee and more talk they left.
Then my mate went to use the toilet and shouted his wife to come and look, it was full to the top and had backed up, he tried to poke down it to release it but failed, he had no choice but to empty some of the water out and then try a plunger, that failed too.
So then it was disconnect the toilet and see if he could find the blockage, after a while he managed to pull the toilet away from the wall and guess what he found? A pair of boxer shorts and they were not his, it seemed this new boyfriend of his wife's friend must have had a slight accident during dinner and that explained his quick exit and why he was so long, he must have tried to flush his boxers down the loo and they got stuck and caused the blockage.
So the evening meal ended around 10.30 and my mate and his wife was still up at 1.30 in the morning, My mate's wife found out after a few days her friend had split from this lad so she told her friend of the incident in the toilet after they left that night, she was embarrassed about it but now that look back and laugh though it wasn't funny at the time.
