the only thing that bugs me is that if you stay for 1 night you stay the night before you go to the park
i'd rather get up early & go straight to the park & stay that night but it doesn't give you the option to do it that way

Just to reiterate. It is absolutely (and often literally) freezing @ DLP that time of year! If you have under 5's you will have to be seriously prepared with ski suits etc. There is a LOT of walking involved too. You can hire a wheely chair or take your own buggy but for little legs its really too far to be walking in my experience.
I wouldnt dream of doing Disneyland Paris for one day from the UK with children. It is a very long journey by car and the ferry crossing can be a nightmare if the weather is bad and the boat is crowded.
All that said, we had a great time when we stayed over at a Disney hotel during a holiday in France. The hotel is basic but does the job and most importantly (for me) it was clean. The shuttle service from the hotels to the park was great (although did involve a 20 minute wait both ways in the c c c c cold). Kids were both a bit poorly with colds that day (typical!) and slept in their buggys for a lot of it!!!
Oh also be warned: the French are the rudest people when it comes to queing and will barge in front of you and trample you and your children without a backwards glance. You have to stand your ground and I gave a few a dressing down for pushing past my baby in a buggy and squashing him!
We will be giving this a miss, even though mine are 3 and 6 now and would undoubtedly love to see Buzz Lightyear and the gang again....I'll wait till we have the cash to do it properly for a few days.
Im my opinion going this way would be an ordeal0 -
Disney's Davy Crockett Ranch pics on tripadvisor look a bit minging lol spesh with the mouse in the kitchen! but thats the only one avaible the day i want!0

To give you an idea of ferry times.
Me personally unless you have already travelled by ferry and drove in France before this might not be your cup of tea with the time restraints for your first time.
Still collect the coupons, print off the order form and sell them on Ebay - you will make a decent profit on the cost of the paper!!!0 -

I wud rather do it they way they say so you get a good sleep to enjoy the park, if you stay in a disney hotel u get to go in there b4 everyone else but im not sure if it will be the same with these tickets?
they don't run extra magic hours every morning in low season, but i think the dates for extra magic hours from jan-march are already published on the official Disneyland Paris website.
if you're staying at any onsite hotel, you have access to extra magic hours. But - I'm not sure if the ticket turnstiles are open at 8am for you to be able to exchange your vouchers for park tickets - as you need your hotel ID card and your park tickets to get into the park for extra magic hours.

Went on boxing day one year about 8/9 years ago (wow, doesn't feel that long) and it was FREEZING! Was all worth it on the last night, watching the winter parade when it started to snow whilst the fireworks were going off though. Magical.
Like the look of this offer so looks like I'll be buying the Sun tomorrow - never driven on the wrong size of the road before so could be an interesting journey!
theres no fireworks at christmas now at DLP, only on New Years Eve, and then nothing until St Patricks Day.0 -
when we went in january '09 it was -15 one day! bitterly cold, but so worth it!
