There is alot of refurbs going on from Jan to March so be warned, the castle might be under cover (but not fully surely??)..and floats are being reduced to 5 ...etc....shorter route aswell. Sorry if this has been mentioned.

Thanks, I think it will probably be best to drive it if we can, i just don't know whether you will get told before christmas which dates you've got?

no i don't think you do - i'm sure i read on the sun link yesterday that if you have chosen a January date as your preference, you will be sent your confirmation in early Jan - later dates will be processed later.

I wholeheartedly agree with the above, we went a few years ago in feb and it was dark, cold, not all of the park was open and when we sat on one ride we broke down and had to be taken out around the back, my poor DS was distraught to see his fantasy of disneyland had been transformed to barrels, the bins, broken down rides that they were fixing, the mess behind it all,:D

I probably haven't read it properly, but what happens with the ferry crossing if one of the children (aged 14) is classed as an adult? Is it still okay? and we just pay extra for a park pass and in the disney hotel room if applicable?

oh, and if you add a night or 2 in the disney hotel does that include park passes for the extra days?

I'm estimating £128 for the offer (if we go in half term, just had a nasty letter from school saying termtime holidays are banned now) and £40 for my 14 year old's park ticket. Add on £238 for 2 nights in a hotel and that's £406 before adding on the hotel supplement for 14 year old, £39 per night ('from' - the upgrade table isn't there yet).

so I make that £480 minimum for a 2-night stay including ferry.

I wonder what the brochure price is?

that sounds expensive to me - 2 adults (and up to 2 kids under 12 free) for 4 nights including all park passes for 5 days in the Santa Fe (2 star hotel) is around £600 in March with Disney, at full price (and Disney is offering up to 40% discount on those prices). You get free nights/days included with Disney as well in the period January - March every year, plus kids under 12 go free.
The prices will probably be hiked up a bit for Feb half term, but not by a huge amount I wouldn't have thought.

we were just over £400 odd for 6 days for feb 2011 at cheyenne...£200 for flights (2 adults and 2 kids)...I think they might still have the 40% off for that time of year...so quite a good bargain!lol..even if we are goingto freeze!haha! x

I think we would have to go in half term if we were going this winter. The website quoted around £300 for the same package, then that doesn't include ferry. But going direct through disney doesn't look any more expensive than the sun offer really.

I'm super skint anyway, husband just came home for lunch and burst my bubble :( He says to watch this thread and see if anyone else talks about the public transport option, then consider going for the day trip but without husband.

How long before the ferry departs do you have to be there? could we go as foot passengers for this offer or do you have to be in a car?
