You can also visit any of the onsite hotels and the Village areas without a park ticket. The Village has shops and restaurants, and the hotels are lovely to wander round (all the public areas are open to anyone, not just guests of the hotels).
You could also have lunch or dinner at Cafe Mickey - this is in the Village, so you don't need a park ticket to do this. The characters join you at lunchtime between 12noon and around 2.30pm, and again from 6pm until the restaurant closes for the evening. If you're going to do this though, you would be best to book a table at the restaurant, its very popular.0 -
;38545870]Are you sure the outward has to be 0:01-06:40 on the day you stay in the hotel?
Seems a bit pointless getting there dead early being unable to check into hotel or go into park.
Surely you should be allowed to get ferry in the afternoon or something?
We have booked the hotel deal and have asked for ferry over there to be 10am and have not been charged any extra
Good luck everyone and Thank you to all posters xx0 -
I have just double checked this on the pull out app form and this is what it says about the ferry times for upgrade offers:
'Indicate your preferred ferry crossing and we will book the nearest availible time. The timing restrictions and supplements noted in section 4 do not apply.'
Section 4 basicly says about the £30 suppliment per car if you travel out of the time marked with a *
So I would take that to mean that we do not get charged any suppliments for traveling out of those times IF we are staying for the upgrade offer.

That makes sense. Dont see the point in getting to France at 9am on the day before your visiting the park...0 -

There's never any reason to arrive in France more than 5 mins earlier than you really need to......:D0 -

We went last November and had a fantastic time.
Other than the French on the first day (we think it was a public holiday), I couldn't fault anything about it.
The characters had a tendancy to fuss more over the children who waited patiently to see them than the ones who barged forward.
Mary Poppins took time to actually chat to my 5 year old daughter and singled her out for a bit more attention because she was so patient! All the other little French brats whose mother's barged them forward didn't even get a smile in the photos.0 -

Ive been following this thread and so many of you are experienced in dp and Im so confused by this offer.
If we book via the sun (2 adults, 1 child) can we forfeit the return ferry crossing and arrange to stay another night whilst we are there and just visit the village the second day do you think?#
Im saying this as we don't have the funds to book the overnighter right now but am hopeful that we may have funds by end of March when we want to go (dd3 7th birthday present). I know that might not be the cheapest way to go about it but its the only option for us. I really hope we can save enough to do this by March as the thought of driving from the south west to Dover, then the crossing and then the drive to dp and then the same in reverse a few hours later gives me the willies.
Also Ive seen on here that the new generation will end early March - what is planned to replace it, does anyone know?
My 6 yr old will love it whatever it is - she just desperate to see the princesses.Love, through the trees, past the sky, beyond the northern lights; and I won't let go. May your soul and spirt fly sweetheart x
My alphabet-girls are with me every step of the way x0
