I am just doing my research in prep for our visit on this deal in Jan. I have been looking on the web about dining in the resort and have noticed a few sites have said that if you stay at a disney hotel your breakfast (in the hotel you are staying at) is included. Does anyone know if that will apply to us as well? it would be fab if we had one less meal to worry about!
Good luck everyone and Thank you to all posters xx0 -

yes, breakfast is always included at the onsite hotels, for the morning after your first night booked, and any subsequent mornings. This is regardless of which agent you booked your hotel through.0 -
Yes, that's how I read it initially when I booked; then saw email confirmation which asked if I need extra day pass in the park I can buy them at £40 adult and £10 for child??!!
Oh dear, ever more confused now.
If you're staying one night, the park tickets that are included are for the day after you've stayed.
If you want to go in on the day you arrive, you'll need to buy extra tickets. Not sure about if you can book them in advance of your trip, but if you buy them on the day they are £48 per adult and £44 per child.
That said, if you've got a long journey, you probably won't want to go straight into the park.
Like I said before, it LOOKS like a good deal in principal, but in reality, when you factor in all the costs of travelling, the extra park tickets and anything else, you can probably get a deal direct with Disney or any travel agent that's equally competitive. What's more, you'll probably travel stress free!
As an example, when we go in March it's cost us £640 for 2 nights/3 days, including 3 days worth of park entries, Eurostar and half-board. That's for 2 adults and 2 children - though the same deal booked now comes out over £900.
If you take the Sun offer, for same length of time it's £238. Add in 2 adult and 2 child tickets for two more days and that takes you to £438 (if the child tickets are £10) or £498 (if child tickets are £40).
You still then have to add in the petrol costs, which in most cases will be at least £100.
Trust me - if you're paying the £238 for 2 nights/3 days then you're better off booking via Disney themselves.
They are offering it for £261.80 at the Santa Fe and that includes 3 days worth of park tickets. You just need to get your transport over there....0 -
Hi guys I have read through all the comments here as my 4 year old daughter is desperate to go to DLP and we are skint. Last year was the first time we didn't have a holiday. I have driven to Paris and back in one day many times so that side of things does not bother me, but I feel she may be too tired by the time she gets there. I had a look at the booking form and it seems I can have one night for between £99 and £106 with park entry the next day so we are all totally fresh. Can anybody who has already booked tell me if there are any hidden extras it seems crazy cheap. I fully understand I will be paying tolls and fuel etc. but for park entry and and hotel this seems like the cheapest way I will ever get to take my daughter to DLP. Also there is a choice of 3 hotels Davy Crocket HS Lodge and Hotel Cheyenne, can anybody tell me which is best ? Thanks0

Davy Crockett is furthest away from the park, and there are no bus transfers to or from, so you would either have to walk or drive (and pay to park).
Sequoia is a "3 key" standard, so the highest rated of the 3, but to be honest, when it's just a room for sleeping in, who really cares about standard?
Cheyenne backs onto the Santa Fe Hotel and is "2 key".
Both the Sequoia and the Cheyenne will have free bus transfers to the park.0 -

Ok guys Im almost ready to book this although I have what may seem like a reall dumb question so please excuse my ignorance. Will my daughter actually get to meet minnie and mickey easily enough or is that only something that happens by chance. This is really important as its the only reason why she wants to go.0

Mickey has his own meet n greet spot in the main park, and you can often find him or Minnie in the studios, also at a meet n greet spot. These are queued meets, so she will have to wait, but at least its a queue and not a scrum/free for all, which a lot of the other character meets are. Woodys Roundup in the main park is a great place for meeting 4 or 5 characters, in a queued meet n greet location, and often including Minne and/or Mickey. you can pick up a park programme and map when you get to the park, this will have the times and locations of each queued meet n greet.
Weekdays in winter at DLP you should find you don't have to queue for ages.
