if ur planning on going for longer than the day its really not worth it i dont think! for me and my partner and two children to go for 2 nights 3 days its going to cost us 438 pound with the sun deal , but if u book it through disneyland for the end of january its only costing us 208 pound with 2 nights 3 days park tickets and breakfast!! then an extra 84 pound to go on the euro tunnel!! so in total not booking it with the sun its only costing us 292 pounds and its a better deal as getting breakfast and goin in the euro tunnel so i no which 1 am booking so please look around if your going for more than 1 day you can defo find it cheaper
i can post links as am newish but look on the euro tunnel website and disneys own site.0 -
I found 27th and 23rd jan (a saturday!) but the pick-up points aren't very local, so that would add quite a lot to the holiday price (train fare and hotel stay etc.). On leger's own website they have a bigger list of pick-up points with extra charges for the ones which are out of the way. Ours is there with a £10 charge.52% tight0

I haven't looked into it, but this thread is about the telegraph offer of first class virgin trains to london if anyone needs that for the eurostar

Just to add the comments above, we went October last year and it was freezing!!! This first day we got there we made a joke about people walking round in ski gear, came away from the holiday saying if we went there again I would buy us all ski wear!
we always go for oct half term and have never found it THAT cold at that time of year!
In fact in 2009 we were not even wearing a coat for most of the day and it was lovely sunny, crisp autumn weather
This year was colder, but still not the need for ski gear, just gloves etc
the wkend we went in Dec one year however  so glad we had ski gear with us !0 -
Just to reiterate. It is absolutely (and often literally) freezing @ DLP that time of year! If you have under 5's you will have to be seriously prepared with ski suits etc. There is a LOT of walking involved too. You can hire a wheely chair or take your own buggy but for little legs its really too far to be walking in my experience.
I wouldnt dream of doing Disneyland Paris for one day from the UK with children. It is a very long journey by car and the ferry crossing can be a nightmare if the weather is bad and the boat is crowded.
All that said, we had a great time when we stayed over at a Disney hotel during a holiday in France. The hotel is basic but does the job and most importantly (for me) it was clean. The shuttle service from the hotels to the park was great (although did involve a 20 minute wait both ways in the c c c c cold). Kids were both a bit poorly with colds that day (typical!) and slept in their buggys for a lot of it!!!
Oh also be warned: the French are the rudest people when it comes to queing and will barge in front of you and trample you and your children without a backwards glance. You have to stand your ground and I gave a few a dressing down for pushing past my baby in a buggy and squashing him!
We will be giving this a miss, even though mine are 3 and 6 now and would undoubtedly love to see Buzz Lightyear and the gang again....I'll wait till we have the cash to do it properly for a few days.
Im my opinion going this way would be an ordeal
not if you just use the deal for cheap Disney tickets
then book your own travel ( eurotunnel with tesco deals) and a hotel
I am going to try for Feb half term
£29.50 for 4 tickets to Disney + eurotunnel with deals + cheapy hotel = bargain Disney fix! :T0 -

if you're staying at any onsite hotel, you have access to extra magic hours. But - I'm not sure if the ticket turnstiles are open at 8am for you to be able to exchange your vouchers for park tickets - as you need your hotel ID card and your park tickets to get into the park for extra magic hours.
The DISboards site is very useful, members there might be able to advise more - and theres a Disneyland Paris thread on mse, in overseas holidays forum.
The ticket booths are definitely open @ 9am ( or were when we went in Oct half term)
so you would get an hour in before 10am0 -

Does anyone know if its ok for my sister to put my car reg on her booking? I have already booked but there is enough room in our car for my sister and her boyfriend so she was gonna book the £99 deal same as me and then come in our car so we can split petrol costs etc. Would that invalidate my booking if she did that?
Good luck everyone and Thank you to all posters xx0
