    hi and welcome,

    i told my boys after the 1st year that if they wanted bertie (our elf) to come again another year they would have to be good and then write and ask santa for him by name!!! not sure how everyone else has done this.

    we have however added 2 new elves (berties best friend jingle-jangle and an elf in training last year and this) AND this year i have got a 4th elf as well - she "works in the book shop and library" and can send us any old books during next year!
    due to spilling coffee :coffee: on my keyboard it works when it wants to :rotfl:

    Thats a relief...had visions of having to get a new one every year and having a boxful of sad looking elves in the loft every Crimbo!!

    Just 'generated' a name for my new Elf (our original Elf has got married!) and her name is Daffy Sparkley-toes!! So we have Sunny Sparkley-toes and Daffy! :D

    pinkflop..how do you get these names..mine will need a name and I haven;t a clue!!

    Hope the link works! It's the website I used years ago for our first Elf. I typed in my little boys name to get the Elfs name, then for his wife I used my name to make sure I got an 'Elf' name with the same surname (does that make sense?! lol)

    hahahahahaha, one elf will lead to another and another and another.... I have quite a few now. (it's totally out of control really :) ) we have two "main" elves and then the rest randomly show up to visit them.

    Anyone got a knitting pattern for elf at all? I am wanting to introduce the elf to my little ones school this year, however, money is very tight so wondered how this could be done very cheaply!!!

    Any help gratefully received!
